Firstly, this is a legitimate question regarding dream control. It does not necessarily belong in BD, IMO.

Secondly, my removed post actually had a rather strong point behind it. I was, in fact, explaining the importance of finding creative solutions to problems such as this through taking advantage of specific archetypes, admittedly in a humorous and less-than-direct fashion. In all honesty, teleporting to Soviet Russia so the Dream Guide does most of the legwork is a brilliant idea. For me, that would not only be an excellent way of convincing myself my DG would be locating me as soon as I finished porting in, but it would also serve to evoke the archetypes required to make the whole thing happen.

Or, if the staff prefers, I offer the more tame solution of asking a DC to bring them to you. Same concept, different implementation.

In Soviet Russia, dream guide finds you!
Therefore, the only logical conclusion is to teleport to Soviet Russia.
Once the subject of Dream Guides are scientifically proven, (not just socially accepted) they'll go in the Dream Control section. And if you would have actually stated the reason behind your post rather than leaving it as as a quip, it wouldn't have gotten deleted.

So we have to prove the existence of a seemingly hyper-intelligent DC? I would think scientifically proving the existence of even an ordinary DC is an impossible feat, given our current level of knowledge.

Unless of course, DV's official stance on DGs is that they are, in actuality, supernatural beings. Then I'd understand the logic.

Yes, I was entirely at fault here. I really should know better by now that all of you don't live in my head. . . yet.

DV doesn't have an "official stance", and theres a HUGE gray area to what the community feels what dream guides are. The move was based on the diversity of the topic itself.
