      halolucination

I'm just wondering if any others of you have had vivid halolucinations(however u spell that) in real life from the use of lds, what i mean by this, is the halolucinations ive been having im sure r connecting to my lds. The first one was i was reading and after falling asleep i awoke to a baby black dragon flying str8 over my head in the room..i was scared shitless and instead of turing the light on were it hand landed on my door i turned the tv to check it wasn't really there instead there was a blk sock i had put on the door a few days before. another time i awoke in the middle of the nite and seen a massive spider in the corner of my room, bear in mind im not afraid of spiders or generally have any fears at all...im not having nightmares and im not dreaming these as most times ive had to get up and get a glass of water etc. another time i awoke and saw maggots coming out of my door landing light being on with the door open i tryed touching them to see if they were real and fell out of bed.. this halolucination continued by me seeing a black hole in the floor.felt like i was going to fall into it. neways have any of u guys had any experiences like this if so id appreciate ur posts thx.... infinity (liam)

The black dragon was probably just a kind hypnopompic hallucination (HH). The spider was maybe either HH or a false awakening. HH always occurs when you wake up, but you never remember any of it unless you focus on it because the memories are stored on different tracts in your brain. So when you are just waking up you remember all of your HH experiences, and when you are awake you remember your awake experiences. Its like when a person is drunk they remember things that happened when they were drunk. If the technique that you use for LD involves focusing on hypnogogic or hypnopompic stages (these are basically the same, I think), you will begin to notice this stuff more, but I don't think it is anything dangerous that will follow you throughout the day. Early on I tried to WILD to go to sleep every night and I noticed weird things like that every once in a while.
