Hey.

After reading more about Lucid dreams i can look back and remember i couple times that i knew i was dreaming at the time. It happens every once in a while but i usually cant keep myself from waking up, and when i do i just lay in bed hoping to fall sleep and continue the dream again.

Heres my point.
2 Days ago i woke up in the middle of the night not being able to move my body except for some head movements and mostly eye movement. It was start and i knew for sure there was something behind my bed, As i felt that it was moving close to my on my left i could also been my bed "Gliding", When it came more to my left where i could see a dark human form and big and tall looking figure. It started to talk with me but it was "using" my sisters voice. I knew for sure it wasn't her, But i could only get it in my head that it was some spirit/ghost visiting me for any reason. That figure set on my bed next to me and when it did i could feel that the bed was lowering as if someone was actually sitting down. That dark figure was just staring at be and i could feel it sitting against my leg(I had been panicking this whole time once i saw its figure).
I wake up and i tell my parents about it and as we are somewhat religious i was just told it could be a spirit trying to tell me something.

I did a quick research with just the characters "waking up not being able to move" or something similar to it and it just came up to very similar stories to what happened to me so at that moment i knew it wouldn't just be a spirit but some other. I did more research and i found about Sleep Paralysis; I was interested in this subject.

I watched a couple documentaries about it and it was very interesting to me.

I have been trying to have Lucid dreams; when i go to bed i lay down and ignore every feeling of moving or itching and i usually fall asleep quickly like that, But never a Lucid dream.

I woke up this morning but plans changed and i wasn't going to work anymore. I lay down. I have a quick couple dreams and suddenly i'm awake in my bed, feeling extremely heavy and without movements to my legs, and very little with my arms. I was very exited about it because i had read that that is the first steps into a sleep paralysis and i just remain calm without moving. Suddenly i start to dream, Awake. I hear a lot of sounds inside my head and much walking outside my door, as in foot steps.
So while at this stage my mom walks in, And I tried telling her it was happening again but i couldn't talk much, but some breath wispers sort of thing. As this figure that was exacly like my mom was talking to me i started to see a big green face where i could describe it as the "Shrek" character on animated movies. When it first appeared it frightened me but i put a clam face with a smile and it wasn't scary any longer.

Eventually i noticed i could move more of my body so i that i could be waking up from this sleep; But it was talking a while so I start to breath harder and deeply helping me get out of a sleep paralysis. I do wake up but with a big smile on my face like i have achieved something and i was exited about it.

With all of this happening, I can not understand why i could get a sleep paralysis so easily with just one night from wanting to happen and i cannot achieve a Lucid dream.

Thank you very much for reading my experiences, This was very exiting to me.
