      Question? Catching my breath

Trying to make sense of this. Couple of days ago, I was in deep sleep can't recall the dream but I was awaken by what felt like someone was pulling me hmmm how can I explain this, sucking my air. I hope I am explaining this right, my mom always told me to write down what happens to me but I would just like to forget but this I can't. It's like a person giving you mouth to mouth but in this instance I was sleep and woke up feeling like someone was pulling me through my breathing. Like a big wind blew by me but felt i had to catch my breath. I look over to see if my husband was trying to wake me up but realize he wasn't there, check the window it was closed shut, and look all around the room. It was a eerie feeling. Can anyone explain or help me understand this or am I just over analyzing?

I'm afraid not. Most likely sleep paralysis. That's my best guess. Sorry. Pretty creepy, though.

      thanks

thanks for trying Snowboy, but I don't think it was that. When I was being pull out my sleep I sat straight up in the bed. And was able to move around that's when I realize I was alone in the room.

You can feel like you're moving during sleep paralysis. When I go through it, at the end it feels like by upper body is lifted at a 45 degree angle. Still, I'm not completely sure.

Was it like your breath was an object, like a rope, and someone was yanking on it? Or what? Thats a very eerie dream, I can empathise. I have dreams often where its very eerie when I wake up.
