      Pre-cognitive dreams

      I think i had a precognitive dream!

For the past 6 months this guy that i was dating would not talk to me if his life depended on it. After we had a misunderstanding, things went total chaos and there was name calling and a whole bunch of crap. Well in my dreams, i would always try to talk to him and say, "you know, this is stupid, come talk to me" and he wouldn't even talk to me in my dreams. but after a while, he started talking to me in my dreams. And i would have dreams that he still had feelings for me. eventually my dreams were about me forgetting about the past, and everything got all better.

Well yesturday was his b-day and i texed him a message telling him H.B. and later on that night he wrote back to me saying how glad he was that i started talking to him, and that he missed me and that he basically still had feelings for me. is this just a coincidence, or is it cool or what?!!! Read my dream journals to read about the dreams i had about him. Most of them are interpreted by me, as to what i think they meant.

I really think you did have a pre cognitive dream. I have had many, even to this day I can remember having dreams about my current botfriend when I was 6 years old!!! I even had it happen to me recently. I think it is a good step to lucid dreaming for you. If you can understand.

I have had many pre-cog dreams. Mine unfortunately are mostly all about bad things. I believe some are real pre-cog dreams and some aren't... who's to say. We may dream about every day things or things that we want in life and life may just play out our dreams one way or another. If you look at it really closely all of our dreams could be pre-cog in some way or another. If you believe that is was a premonition then it probably was... I bet you will be paying more attention to your dreams from now on. Congratz about the guy friend I hope it works out with you two!!!

I'm not a firm believer in pre-cog, but I have had an expirience with one.
I had a dream I was getting in a fight with this dude I'm not really on good terms with. Anyway, I almost never get in fights, I've had one all through middle school. The next day, we ended up wailin at each other.
I must say, it is wierd, and the chance of it being a coincidence is infinitessimal, but I still dont really believe in pre-cog.

      Always an open mind, though.

My experience with precognitive dreams (which has been rare) is that it's an extremely vivid dream in which I observe and experience events before they happen exactly down to the last detail.

They usually make no sense to me when I dream them, because I haven't experienced them in context with other future events until they happen.

For example: I might dream that I'm walking into a room I've never been in before and two friends of mine are discussing Pink Elephants. Joe is saying "of course Pink Elephanst can fly!" And Mark is saying "Man, you know that's ridiculous!" And in the dream I say "What the hell are you two talking about?!?!" And they start laughing.

After waking up from the dream, it would stick with me for the rest of the day and I would ponder it, but not tell anyone about it.

Perhaps a couple days later Joe asks me to pick him up from work at his new job. I've never been there before. I go inside the building and start to get an wierd feeling that it looks familiar even though I've never been inside.

I walk into Joe's office, it's exactly the room I dreamed of, and sure enough, Joe and Mark are saying exactly what they said in my dream. They look at me, and feeling like I'm an actor on a stage and it's my line, I say "What the hell are you two talking about?!?!" But I feel so wierd saying it, because I clearly remember saying this exact phrase to them two days ago! But it feels like what I'm suppose to say, so I say it.

It's always been so wierd when it happens. It's hard to explain the feeling, but it's kind like seeing a brief clip from a movie out of context and then a couple days later realizing it was a clip from the movie that I'm living in.

One thing I've noticed though, I had them a lot more when I was younger. Mostly around junior high and high school. My last pregoc dream was when I was 22 and I'm 31 now. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like it kinda fades as I get older...

since i record all of my dreams, how do i explain this...the thing with the greeting cards, i didn't know that it was a pre-cog dream when i was having it, i just looked back at the signs, and the obvious dream symbols. At the time of that dream (with the red glowing greeting card) i knew it meant something, but i didn't know what. Here's the other "Pre-cog" dream:

In reality, two years ago i had a really close friend named jon who died from a drowning accident. I was reading my journal, about the day we started going out. (i was missing him so i was reading my journal entries about him after he died.) And the first day we started going out, he reminded me so much of my ex boyfriend jake. He laughed like him, and everywhere we were together, i'd see the colors of Jake's jacket. so after one day of going out with jon, in my journal, i wrote about the dream i had about him. And in that dream, jake was dressed up in a black suit and saying goodbye to everyone and everyone was hugging and kissing him goodbye. One girl was even crying. I wanted to kiss him goodbye, so i asked and he said yes. Then he left.

Since Jon reminded me so much of Jake. That night i had a dream about jake going away...wearing a black suit...in other words, it was like he was dying and everyone was saying goodbye to him and crying. So it was almost like my subconscious knew, that i shouldn't get too attached to jon because he was going to die. And he did.

i had another dream like that one time. I wrote about it in my dream journal (you should check it out!!!) anyway, i went out with a guy named mike, and i was "taken advantage of" by another guy and i told him about it and he stopped talking to me. because he thought i cheated on him. So for 2 weeks in my dreams i just kept trying to talk to him, but just like in reality, he kept ignoring me. Until my dreams changed, and in them, we got back together. Then we got back together in reality. I think my horoscope even said that day, "if you want something bad enough, it'll happen"

I think we all create our own realities sometimes. Like, have you ever heard the expression "the world doesn't revolve around you?" well if you think about it, it does. Because you can only feel what you feel and you can't tell what other people are thinking, it's just you. How do we know that everyone else isn't just detail in our lifes. idk, check "my credo, and how it came to be" if your interested in that kind of stuff.

I think of the same type of things. Also i think that all dreams are pre-cog in some way. I have had many of them and it gave me time to think about how I would act if I was in that situation and when that situation came up, I would know how to handle it. See what I am saying???

pandragon, i haven't had a precog dream THAT intense! my "pre-cog" dreams are more metaphors, and i figure them out after the event happened. I've never had it that bold right in my face. lol
