Holosync, These are just hit and go questions, answer one or all. Not to long if you don't like.
What is the purpose?
How does it work?

What is the purpose?
It is supposed to help you meditate, and also to increase whole brain thinking (rather than just one side or t'other)
How does it work?
Special tones overstress the brain, similar to a runner running 2 miles a day, and your brain/the runner will eventually become stronger, so the length/power of tones is increased.
Personal Experience?
I have been using Holosync for a few weeks, and I definitely feel effects. I find myself more stressed, but this is supposed to happen, as the aforementioned runner will get tired before the body gets used to it.
Uses?
It is supposed to leave one less stressed in general, as the runner (he just keeps cropping up) will find himself losing breath less etc.
It is also designed to help the user think clearly.
What does it do?
Sorry, not sure how this is different :?
I haven't used Hemisync properly, but when I tried it for a short while, it seemed to me to be total far out new-age hippy super crazy psychic mumbo jumbo doolally.
Also, hemisync requires active listening and meditation, whereas Holosync can be listened to whilst sleeping (as I do). It definitely helps me sleep quicker.
More info please.
 OK, I would recommend going to their websites and reading their say on it, but beware, they lie. I wouldnt go with Hemisync, they seems totally weird to me, and Holosync is a bit more down to earth.
But that's as far as my knowledge on the subject extends.
The way I understand some of these thingies is that they are just bineural beats with a fancy name. Bineural beats - a certain frequency through one headphone and another through the other one. The brain compensates the difference by producing brainwaves at the specific differential frequency. Using this technique you can make the brain produce certain brainwaves and thus make it go into a certain state. Alpha, beta... So relaxed state, "meditative", "dreaming"... As far as I know it's proven that your brainwaves do change when you do this. Anyone feel free to correct me if I said something wrong.
ive been exploring hemisync for a while, cant say it does much other than bring me to a deeper meditave state quicker than without listening.......never heard of holosync but would like to know more....?
I am starting holosync from today and I hope it works well and there are no subliminal messages and things like that. I read so much negative and positive info on teh internet about them and I really dont know what to expect.
