The first ever that I remember was clearly a shared dream (I"m not saying there weren't ones before that) was about 8 years ago. Me and my sis were like 15 and 16 and were sharing bunk beds at the time. I remember seeing her in the dream, and I just remember us being fascinated and we started talking, there may have been something to do with a young man being there too, something strange happening, and we just thought it was really cool, and it seems (from her point of view) that we told each other we'd talk about it when we wake up because that would be awesome. I remember being aware of it and totally thinking that in the dream. . when we woke up---amazingly at the same time--we looked at each other with eyes wide open: "what was that?"
      "hhah, I dreamed of you!"
      "I dreamed of you!!"
"Hold on, for real, did you "
"Yes did you also see the guy"
"Oh my God this is so crazy!"
      "hahaha"
      "Hahaha" *awkward funny fascinated coolness*

I didn't write it down, unfortunately, I didn't keep a DJ back then. I thought Shared dreams would only be this specific and clear. But apparently, me and my other sister often come up to each other and say "hey, I dreamed of X" and the other would go "Yes I dreamed of X too! And it was at Y" and then the other would go "Me too! X and Y!! that's so weird our dreams are so alike." Haha.

I always knew there's a connection between my sister and other family members, but I never thought those might also literally be considered shared dreams. Especially because I dream a lot... Of MANY people. So I have many questions about the characteristics of shared dreams, especially the non lucid ones; I don't know which to consider shared dreams because I consider most of my dreams important and symbolic when they stand out. I never thought the people I see may have really been there with me.
How could I tell the difference?

The first Shared dream I had was with my Mom. We were walking on a gravel road, and I told her I was dreaming. She said it was her dream and we started arguing about it. We said we would try to remember this and talk about it the day, then it was over. When I woke up I told her I had a weird dream, she described the whole thing, the gravel road, the argument. Have had more with her, an aunt, a brother, and a couple of close friends. Talked to the close friends about it the next day, but they were creeped out. Haven't had any lately due to my work schedule. I don't know any one who sleeps when I do.

my first shared dream (that I remember) was with my friend in wood shop class. Right as I was walking through the door into woodshop the thought pops in my mind I should tell him about that dream. As soon as he sees me walking through the door He says John I had a dream about you! I say we were smoking weed right...
In the dream as he recalls it he was at a party he walked upstairs in the house and saw me sitting in a room with two twin sized beds. I had a big bag of weed and we got high.
All I remembered was sitting on the bed with him smoking weed and talking.

The 1st one I ever had was with my 1st love. I WILDed. I lay down I relax blah blah ....Dreamtime begins and then a dream of a deciduous forest at winter time surrounds me. It is dusk. I hear a female voice in the woods. She is talking and it sounds familiar. I almost took a step but a disembodied voice told me no. Somehow I knew I was the only one who could hear the voice. Then a path in the forrest opened and stepping stones appeared. As I stepped it felt like I stepped out/thru one large empty bubble into another bubble with a forest. As I did i stepped only on the stones which led me right to her. She was talking to some old guy in front of what looked like a dilapidated play house. I tapped her on the shoulder she turned around and saw me. There was a pause as though in disbelief. She kissed me & I woke up! I wondered whether it was real. I asked her the next day if she had any wierd dreams and it was almost exactly the dream I had. Keep in mind I didn't tell her I was going to try to visit her in her dreams.

Thought plus emotion creates attitude. Attitude plus action creates experience and experience determines reality
