Outer Body Experiences

I had a dream at first talking to my friends at night and my dog appeared and it had crystals coming out of her back and i was like woa they were calcite i think the person in me said and that they came from atlantis i could feel the vibrations from the crystals then i said im going to meditate.I actually woke up in sleep paralasys and could feel the vibrations and hear them i just relaxed they got even stronger and after a while the vibrationes went and i could hear a harmonic crystal sort of vibration it was beautiful sound,i then felt my non physical body move out to the left i then started moving in a slow circular motion i could now see my room as it is for real and i started to circle the whole room expanding i then appeard outside the house by going through the wall and once i was out i stopped and then suddenly still in my lying down position shot off into the sky i was going so fast i was like wow!! i could defenatly tell i was in another dimension i could see a trail of asteral colours behind like purple bluey and the sky was soo spiritual i then shot down and went through this hole like i was being warped as i came through the other side i could still see the other side. the warp was the sea i think with whirlpool i came through it then closed and i was heading into wat looked liked to be honest another dimension like i went through 3 layers of dimensions. i then lost control and woke up with wat seemed me having my first breath of life again it was so nice. would of gone somewhere more but my brother and his gf got up for college which made me loose connection and shot back into my body.

I know this was an outer body experience not a dream. some will say it was sleep paralasys well yh it was untill i went past that stage

i woke up feeling so happy and energetic and also feeling like i was going to cry

pls feel free to comment and share your experiences

this was my very first OBE ever and was not expecting it either until i got the vibrations

I feel like a new person

I had to do multiple reality checks while reading that, because...ignoring the bad grammar...I would have sworn you just grabbed a few sentences straight out of my dream journal from a couple different dreams and combined them into one post. It's actually really strange. But I've experienced and written about every single thing you mentioned in my own astral projections/OBEs.

edit: one more thing...it's called Out of Body Experience, not outer body experience, lol, although I sort of like that term outer

How do you know they're OBEs and not realistic dreams? Can you read clocks or something? Do you see stuff that's there in real life that you wouldn't have known about?

Either way, it sounds like an incredible experience. Congrats on having one!

By definition, an OBE is just an experience of feeling as though you are outside your physical body.

Aw, so it's just a feeling? I was reading through the thread where that guy tried to prove it with the dice, but it seemed like he never finished the experiment. I'd like it for someone to prove it one way or another so we can stop with all this ambiguity and "iz itz liek reel" debate.

Wrighty's experience sounds cool and it would be pretty sweet if there was an accepted/non-"Beyond Dreaming" way of doing it. It could potentially be rather useful for real life, pragmatic purposes.

its definatly not like a dream, its definatly real, well i believe it is. Your consiousness leaves your body and explores these higher realms.

This all happend naturally i just remembered a teqnique to relax through the vibrations and when the vibrations have stopped you are ready to leave your body. and mine naturally started to cirlce out and then around the whole room then stopped when i went through the wall to outside my house then just went wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh faster than anything iv seen so far

OOO and the crystals CELESTITE

Aquanina that is really strange, have you gone through and checked for these sentances that i could possibly said or combined, let me know if you do i would really like to hear

nice one wrighty congratulations mate. i almost had one the other day in the bath. i relaxed and focussed on a feeling of weightlessness after a load of third eye exercises. the weightlessness nearly led to me forgetting my body and slipping out of it into a dream/projection. my legs kind of slipped out underneath the bath, but once again it jolted me awake..someday

next time you have sleep paralasys just relax and concentrate on the vibrations and think of healing energy white light and then when the vibrations fade and you just hear a nice harmonic crystaline sound your non -phys body is ready to detach alot of ppl make the mistake of trying to go to fast and ruin process just relax and wait but also dont fall back to sleep else you will rather have a very vivid or lucid dream instead of an obe Good look do the future mate Namaste

cheers for the help mate. yeah it still goes a bit quickly for me to do it consciously. had a couple of great WIDs though without being properly lucid. still i suppose it going to quickly is far prefferable to the fear and paralysis that i used to get when attempting WILDs. it does feel like once i crack it, i wont be stuck in scary imagery and will just slip out with ease. thats what i keep telling myself anyway

last night i could of had another potential obe but i moved :/ plus i was hearing voices this time which i didnt think i could relax too hahaha. np rain

iv never had had scary imagery just voices and things biting me lol not painful just weird as hell.iv had the feeling were you get the presence someone is in your room. looks like this time i forgot to think of white light and healing energy and forgot to ask for protection :/ its vital to do i think

Well i was reading up on some of the other threadss and somone was sayin you are part in the physical realm and part in the dream world, so your concious is free to explore the realms, i could relate to it obe are just truly magical, More of a spiritual journey

Well i was dreaming at the time and decided to meditate for some reason and i woke up and was in SP and i just relaxed but not so i would fall asleep into a lucid dream/or vivid dream,
i thought of healing light and protection and focused on the vibrations and the other noises i was hearing, then they soothed away and my body detached itself and i was free.

In sleep paralasis do not get scared or try to move dont panic if you dont feel like your breathing, and try to keep yourself nice and calm ask for protection and healing white light
