Look at your eyes in a mirror

I have a friend who believes that you can tell if someone has something paranormal about them by looking at their eyes.

Basically, you look for a ring around the eye, if there is a ring, they have something paranormal about them, this is a ring, though my ring is a bit rounder, it can be fairly faint too, so you have to look closely

and if they don't, it looks like this one

the ring is easiest to see in blue eyes, but can be present in other eye colors from what I've observed. I was just wondering how many people here have a ring, so I could have a better idea if this is true or not

My eyes are turquoise with a hazel ring, which is pretty sharp and visible. I haven't experienced anything strange though. Yet.

thanks for the input, I don't think it has to be a significant experience. what I'm really looking for is someone (preferably several someones) who doesn't have a ring that has had some sort of paranormal experience, because that would prove this wrong.

I also think that the individual's belief system has a bit to do with this, if they are completely closed to paranormal experiences, they would probably not see one as such... well, I guess I'll just see what happens.

if you can get a good picture of your eye, it would be nice to see it, ringed or otherwise.

thats interesting. I just saw this thread but lately i looked into my eyes in the mirror and i saw i have a ring. My eyes are brown but my ring is blue/greenish, cant decide what color but still different from the brown. I was thinking wtf, why so? i dunno if theres smth paranormal about me though. life will show

It's difficult to tell with me. I have blue eyes and they get darker near the outside, but the border seems thin. It seems I have an obvious defined border in some lighting, and none at all in others. I've never had a paranormal experience that I know of.

i have green eyes with an inner ring of green/brown. so far i've experienced nothing you'd call paranormal.

My eyes right now are a brownish orangish hazel color that fades out to a thick dark green ring, but my eye color changes alot going from green to hazel to brown

I'm not entirely sure what I meant by it at the time, I guess I used paranormal as a catch all.

I'll ask my friend next time I can what she said when she told me, I'm a little fuzzy.

Up close with decent lighting, mine are sort of a greenish-grayish that shifts to red-brown around the pupil, and there's sort of a dark outline around the iris. From far enough away, though, they just look brown. Never had a supernatural experience.

I have light brown/hazel eyes and they definitely don't have a ring as obvious as the first picture, but there is definitely more color differentiation than seen in the second picture (the eye in that picture is just plain brown pretty much), but I wouldn't say what I have is a 'ring' persay.

But I have had paranormal experiences, OBE-type dreams, I've sensed A LOT of 'spiritual pressures' and I've had a lot of past-life regression type feelings.

Maybe the eye thing is correct though. Because I've sensed a lot of stuff, but I've never actually seen an actual ghost. I've seen what seem to be more than just figments of my imagination in vivid dreams that I've had, but never in waking life

My eyes are green/bluey with a golden ring around the pupil. I've been told that my eyes look yellow in bright light.

Nothing "paranormal" has ever happened to me.

Hey,
my eyes are greeney blue with a light ring in the middle. It depends on what you class as paranormal really, I've had sleep paralysis and weird half possibly OBE nightmares but nothing firmly paranormal (like being able to read minds). This is an interesting post, I sure do hope I have something paranormal about me!

hm i can also see a ring in the second picture you posted. it seems to be not that visible because of the color brown to grey. it seems much smaller if i would compare it with the first picture though.

I have green eyes with a olive green ring. Nothing paranormal here, unless you count those damn sounds that scared the hell out of me when I was 7. But I quess that was just something similar to hypnagogic imagery. (Did I write "hypnagogic" right?)

I have a ring around my iris, and pupil.
Although I have had many paranormal experiences, I think that this is just because I am open to them, and weird things happen around all the family members on my mothers side, not to mention my aunt is able to communicate with the spirit world while awake.

Seems like my friend is drawing from personal experience with this one, She can apparently see things like angels/demons/spirits, and to her, everyone she has ever met with a ring has had some sort of paranormal experience. I looked at her eyes once, they look like they have runes etched into them instead of a ring, it's really cool.

I don't know if I believe it anymore, though I would love to see what people have to say on the subject.

I doubt that it really has anything to do with the paranormal, although the iris of the eye has been used to predict diseases or illnesses you may have, or have in the future. Which is still pretty cool.
