Can somone explain this about lucid dreaming i think its definatly another reality/realm

My lucid dreams always tend to start of with me in my bed.
Well the weird thing is if i sleep over a mates house i always have a lucid dream its awsome i even LD in my freinds bed where ever i go not my bed its really strange.

My LD are always much better if im not in my own home

so this is rather the brain being rather clever to do this

      or it is another reality

think about it we have the physical reality and we are concious

then you go into the non physical realm Dream world

Ahh i dont no im probably confusing you all :/

if you understand where im coming from pls comment

I might be able to shed some light on this one, for you.

It's a natural instinct for us to be more alert, when we are sleeping in surroundings that aren't our normal places of rest. You are more likely to sleep lighter, because (as a survival mechanism) your mind is going to be more aware of your surroundings. So it's not only more likely that you will have a better chance of becoming lucid, when you're not at home, but also that you will more easily remember your dreams.

hi wrighty mate, whatever it is, the mind is a truely amazing thing for sure. i had a meditation earlier today and with my eyes closed i suddenly realised that i was looking at my hands and my room. however most of my lucids start in a different manner to yours. i have just started a thread on how to prove these kind of things to yourself so perhaps you may have some ideas? cheers

it was just sat down curled up in a duvet. a bit like a wild attempt really, but i know that can be draining so i just wanted to see if i could open the eyes again because its been a while since i tried it. i dont recommend it until you are good at wilding in the morning though. sometimes when i used to try, i would feel absoutely drained and detached
