      Attacked!

Ok, so I have been learning energy work and practicing lots lately since I cant seem to LD anymore. I mention this even though I'm not sure it has anything to do with it but last night while having a really vivid dream (not lucid though) all of a sudden I felt like I was attacked by some unknown thing. It felt like something between a violent punches/pushes from behind and an electric shock. I never got a chance to see what attacked me because I immediately woke up after. In fact my wife even woke up do to my heavy breathing! I felt somewhat drained after the fact. Also one thing I noticed was that it was around 2230hrs which is very early for a vivid dream...for me anyway.

      Any ideas?

      Anything similar happen to anybody?

      I have an idea.

And yeah, all the time. Minus the waking up, with a bit of ass-kicking thrown in, typically.

Yeah after this last one I feel I could have a vivid dream anytime after falling asleep. I normally dont though! I was very strange because it felt soooo real. I really felt the shock and shove!

It was symbolic of a situation in life that that you saw as something bad that came at you unexpectedly. You look at the situation in a certain way that makes it seem bad.

      I agree with that.

Although, there's few other possibilities I see

1st - Have you heard of psychic vampires? (there's a thread on them in "beyond dreaming") Yeah, some rare psychic vampires can feed through astral planes....which means that if you're not shielded (which the first this you should learn when practicing energy works) they can feed off of you during sleep.

2nd- Maybe you were drifting into an OBE but you spontaneously woke up which drained your energy. It happens when you're new to energy practices.

3rd- You said you've been practicing energy works lately. Well sometimes during our sleep, our body tends to release negative energy that we kept during the day. Sometimes this happens in the form of nightmares.

Either way, I suggest you shield before going to bed.

Edit: There's the topic on psychic vampires http://www.dreamviews.com/f19/guardi...energy-111334/
