But sometimes when i dream i will like get shot & feel the bullet enter my body i'll wake up shortly afterwards & i'll have terrieble pain where i felt the bullet enter...
is this only strange 2 me?

I dont see any reasons why there wouldnt be possible to feel pain. Maybe the mind is able to neglect pain since the nerve system is shut of in the physical body. But like all the other sensations in the specter is available, pain must be to. Or else it would be like not being able to see, like, the color green i feel.

But I havent experienced pain myself in either a lucid nor a non-lucid dream, which i can remember.

I don't recall waking up feeling pain that I'd experienced in a dream but I have woken up and felt the effects from a dream.

When I was growing up my mom used to give my sister and I Pop Tarts for breakfast.. she would toast them in the toaster and then put butter on them. My favorate was blueberry.

One morning I had a very VIVID non-lucid dream that I was being forced to eat LOTS of blueberry Pop Tarts dripping to the point of sogginess in butter! It was absolutely disgusting and I woke up feeling sick to my stomach. For years after that dream, I could not stand the thought (nor the smell) of blueberry Pop Tarts!

I have heard of this before, although not experienced it myself. Body parts often feel strange after a dream where they get hurt, but dont actually cause me pain after I wake up. Perhaps you just sense it a lot more vividly?

      or

If the bullet hit something like your had, then maybe you had slept on your hand and hurt it, which was played out by your dream and effected you in life?

I'm just guessing, so if you think I might be wrong then I probably am.

I have never experienced pain in dreams(altough i have been shot, stabbed and been wounded in many other ways) but i have several times felt immense fear.

I have actually been more scared in dreams than i have ever been in reality.

Well, could it be part of SP? I am just wondering, b/c a few times when I have woken up, the SP may cause some pain. Most of the time, if this happens, I try to go into a Sci-fi, then the pain goes away. Usually, if I get hurt in LDs, though, I just wake up startled, especially if I trip, I jump!

yes, i've felt pain in my dreams, and then felt the pain on waking.
i once dreamed i had a coach resting on my left temple, and when i woke up, my left temple was killing me!!
of course, i could have just been gritting my teeth in the dream, it was pretty damn scary...
and then the other day, i woke with a migraine, managed to get to sleep and dreamed about my migraine!!
      so that worked in reverse...

It's absolutely possible. It has happened to me quite a few times. Once I got stabbed by a knife in the stomach and felt the pain. I woke up because of this and could still feel the pain in my stomach area. I sat up and the pain disappeared gradually.

If you have very vivid dreams, the brain has problems separating real life occurances with those in a dream. That might make the body send pain signals to warn you and tell you to get away or heal the wound... and pain signals are rl body alerts so you will feel the same pain when you're awake.

A tip. When you get hurt, tell yourself that this is only a dream and that there is no need for pain as I know I cant die.

I have actually posted before about getting shot in a dream and waking up to intense pain. It's happened to me several times. I don't know why or what causes it. I have a lot of lucid dreams so I usually know I'm dreaming whenever I get injured or shot, but it still hurts like a bitch. I wake myself up and the pain takes a few minutes to fade entirely.
