Someone in a dream claims to be dreaming too, and little Newbie question.

Okay, so, I've been seeing this one person in my dreams for a very long time. I talk to him frequently, and we're barely anywhere in the dream without each other. There are a lot of other characters in the dream, and we interact with them just as often as we do with each other.
A few nights ago, he began saying he kept having nightmares. Then, when I got up and walked out of the room, into another to go speak to some other dream characters, he fell asleep in the dream. I know in the dream, I pass out or faint every time I exit the dream. He was having a nightmare, it was apparent on his face. There wasn't much I could do, just sit there and try to wake him up. He woke later, then told me about his nightmare. He says it's been reoccurring for a long time, and that the scary thing was that it was normal. His father was there, as was his mother, and his twin. He said he was still living in the same town as before, he was still homeschooled. He said it was like nothing ever went wrong.
SO, on the topic of shared dreaming, do you think anyone could help me look for him? I mean, is there any gathering place, forum, whatever for people looking for others from their dream? I've never actually met this guy here, but in this dream plane, I've known him for years on end, and I even have memories of him that creep up. If anyone could direct me to a place where people go to find people, that would be great, because I've looked, and I can't find anywhere.
You know what, just going to jot down some info here.
About 6 foot 1 inch, lanky with tan skin. He has messy, wavy, brown hair that reaches the middle of his neck. He wears thick black glasses that are held together by numerous bits of tape and string, his eyes are a mixture of brown and green. His name is Andrei, but he sometimes goes by Andy, Drew, or Andrew. He's about seventeen, a good three years older than myself.
Sorry to trouble people with this, but it's becoming really important to me to find him.

You never know. If he was just a DC that was acting like a real person what would he act like? like a real person but then if it was posible how would you know if he was a real person. I don't think it is best to try and find him online. There are billions of people out there and probably thosands that could fit the discription you gave. You should talk to him in a dream and ask him more questions on how you would find him in waking life and more specific details on him.

I've been trying, that's for sure. I have a last name, and a few more prominent characteristics, but I don't really want to be revealing other people's personal information on the internet, that just opens the door to a whole new range of problems. I've searched facebook, and the only accounts that could have been him were deleted, I've searched skype, and there's over 200 of them. Counting on the lack of results I've been getting, you're right that I shouldn't keep relying on the internet. It's too frustrating, with too many what ifs. Sadly, I'm not sure what else to use. The internet is my only resource for such things. I gave him some of my own contact information in the dream, and I hope he remembers it.
We've spoken about this, but the topic's only surfaced this week. I'm going to try and keep getting more snippets of information.
I don't think he's just a DC, I don't know, there' just this feeling that it's all too real to be a figment of my subconscious. I'm going to keep searching in waking life, for sure, thank you for taking the time to answer!

Why don't you just ask him? Where do you live, what is your full name, etc?

I've had a DC like this before which made me think i was shared dreaming i created a thread on this part of the forum should be about somewhere, i also have re accuring dreams of the same DC which "feels" different than other DC's if you get me, like he's real. very odd. He takes different forms though and sometimes names himself differently.
My most recent one he drove me around on a petrol scooter and he looked like justin beiber (yeah nightmare or what) but he claimed to be the son of tupac.

and in my most recent LD he used his own lucid dreaming powers between the time of me in the dream and becoming lucid. Was strannggeeeeeeee

Try to a ask him, 'Are you my dreamguide?' if he says yes, you found your dreamguide, if no, then its just a DC, AND My dreamguide can levetate, ect.

I think you may be perceiving this to be much more of a complicated problem than it needs to be -

You've said that you have had many dreams with this guy in the past right? This means that you already have a well established link between you two. The next phase would be to create a portal to go and find him. Picture him in your head, target him, say his name over and over (singing it also helps) and see the portal open up before you as your chant gets louder and more powerful (this is not the only way but I have found it to work for myself) step through the portal and voila - you have stepped into his world. As I said, the fact that you already have a connection will make it easier for you to find him. If you start to have any doubts in your mind then it will only make things more difficult (dream content is directly influenced by your thoughts, so if you think something will not work - then it won't) - you WILL find him.

Once you have found him then you can help him through his nightmare.

Now I know you said you would like to find him in the 'real' world, but honestly, if his troubles are in his dreams, then the best place to help him is there.

But, if you really want to find him in this world - next time you find him tell him to sign up to the DV forum with a name which you have created - then track him down that way
