      Demons in your dreams

I see that there are a couple of threads that talk a bit about demons in dreams but i wanted to share this story cause it was pretty interesting when i heard it.

My friend, lets say gary to keep things anonymous, was into lucid dreaming. He got to a point where he was almost having a lucid dream everynight. After a while he said he started talking to this odd being. He said it didnt exactly look like a demon but he said he knew he was one. He said he could just feel it, so in his mind he kept reminding himself that he was a demon. Gary tried to ignore him but he said it was really hard cause the demon was always in his face just talking. Then one night the demon asked him a riddle. Gary got interested and tried to solve it. He eventually got the answer and it was some crazy numbers. Gary explained it to me but i forgot. The next time Gary met the demon he told him the answer and the demon rewarded him by showing him what his true soul was. He said a dragon, the flying snake like ones, with a humans head flew out of an ocean. The color of his soul, the dragon, was blue. The dragon came and ate Gary and he said he became one with his soul. Eventually after a while Gary stopped lucid dreaming cause he felt it was putting him in danger.

Has anyone else experienced a demon in dreams before? If so, how experienced were you in lucid dreaming?

A definition of what you call "Demon" may be useful here.

I have encountered entities in The Dreamtime that feed off your essential energy; I have encountered other Dream Walkers with less than benign or benevolent intent; I have encountered Spirits and angry Ghosts. Any one of them could be described as a "demon".

So, what do you actually mean by the term?

What I see as a demon is: an entity who is evil, steals other entities energy with no care as to how much they take, and is full of hate.

There is a war between the demons that steal peoples energy on earth and the ones that want them to leave and fight for the light. These fuckers are responsible for the fucked up state the world is in. They don't give a shit about anybody.

The demon in his dream was just messing with him. having fun showing crazy things to dreamers.

Also dreams can be very dangerous. You can have your energy stolen, become imbalanced, have your dream body ripped up into pieces. I did some stupid shit in dreams a couple days ago and have been healing since then. Allowing my energy to be pieced back together. Smoking ganja and relaxing.

demons- avoid them. become experienced in dreaming and fight them. Fucking demons.......

Your vehemence gives them too much power.

Everyone can steal your energy in the dream plane. Give someone, an entity, too much attention and it will be stealing your energy.

I recall Plato's explanation of what a daemon was--it amounted to something like the Christian gaurdian angle thingy. However, I don't understand what a daemon is. Can I dream of the tomato that ate New York and call it a demon, and if so, what makes it a demon?

Tomato demons are the most ruthless of them all. Their inexhaustible hunger for human souls is even greater than our own desire to put ketchup on everything.

I have experience demons in my dreams several times. Some were nice and some not so nice. I was a lover to a demon too who was reunited with me once we grew older. We were separated as children for some reason. In my dreams, they seem to be of all different kinds even some aquatic ones too.

Regarding what is and what isn't a 'demon'....Some people have various kinds of dream phenomena all nearly categorized, with labels and pat interpretations. But the reality is that they only have a vague idea of WTF any of this stuff is. The full reality is much, much different than what any of us realize.

Some drugs can give a person experience of their 'soul' also, but always at some kind of price. (I've never taken drugs so I say this based on what I feel through other people.) It seems to me that there is a time and order to knowledge, and it distorts and injures when it is twisted. My mind is twisted, so pretty much everything I experience is warped somehow. I don't think trying to pigeonhole everything as 'good' or 'evil' makes much sense. Yet still its foolish to dismiss the reality of evil, or the danger of wrong development. Arrogance has a certain price also.

Yes, I have dreamed about that one tomato actually. What makes it a demon? The fact that it is evil, and that it has bad intentions.

A lot of my nightmares are about demons actually, which usually results in me becoming lucid. I just watched insidious and it has to do with demons within the astral plane.

Well, personally, if I thought as you do, made the judgment you have made, I might say that I was aware, but not in the least lucid.

When you read a book, are you afraid of the words on the page?
When you watch tv, are you afraid of the images on the screen?

. Define aware. No, I'm not afraid of the words I read. Am I afraid of the images on the screen? Depends. If it's a hot chick on tv, I'm usually turned on. If it is a ugly ass demon, and the image is accompanied by a sudden sound, yes I might be scared (or as scientists prefer to say, scared shitless)

i met and fought daemons.killed many of them and one killed me.but nothing to worry about.its a dream after all, right?
One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
