So i keep on having this idea.

So ive been having this idea for a long time and cant get it out of my mind and its one of the reasons im intrested in lucid dreaming.

Transdental meditation.

If been thinking of transdental meditation and dreaming, transdental meditation has showed to have many benefits.
-Healing damage done to the brain by drugs
-Improved memory, creativity, intuition
-Growth of the brain.
-Improved immune system, metabolism etc etc

As the idea of transdental meditation is to travel into your inner self, and you can already have weird experiences while meditating , i thought that it might have some weird effect and or benefits from doing it in a lucid dream.

Any ideas , or thoughts from people who meditate ( and the TM version)

I meditate ALOT.. Sometimes for three or more hours a day. I have meditated in lucid dreams while in space. The problem is that I always fall asleep while meditating in the dream, only to wake up in my bed.

Isn't that wierd.. I fall alseep and enter a dream, I fall asleep in the dream and enter reality.

Funny that you fall asleep.

im kinda of dissapointed, i hope once i get my lucid dreams that i can meditate in a dream and have some wild experience/ prolonging my dream for a long time , maybye making the dream more stabilized dont know.

For some weird reason i just think that theres something thats just hidden secretely in there . lol

Might just be me and my weird ideas who knows

In a sense, lucid dreaming is actually a shortcut to the transcendental experience. Once achieving lucidity, you ought to be able to do TM exercises and reach transcendent states without the need for all the meditating. Indeed LD'ing is a simpler path to higher consciousness, if used properly. So not a bad idea to keep having at all!
