Thread: any confirmed lucid dream sharers ?

I often share lucid dreams with a dear friend of mine. Except this isn't true, but you can't prove that.
I'm accepting the possibility that it's somehow possible, but I'm pretty sure 95% of shared dreamers here are just victim of strong auto-suggestion.

A lot of people do. I am just the only one that responded. You will not see if it is true in Atras' Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Project. You will see a bunch of words on a screen. The only way to know for yourself is to do it.

I invite whoever is at the temple, to try and kill me. I'll be more likely to remember something like that, especially if it wakes me up.

I did dream incubation but ended up dreaming of superheroes where i a non superheroe saved the day (i was suppose to dream of how i became a winged angelike archer)

i have a confirmed shared dreaming too its a problem that most people cant recall but sometimes they do not want to share cos for example the dreams are personal and if they share one can 'see' them.they feel naked and ashamed. it doesnt really matter, SD is real. At least for some people

I've only had 2 confirmed shared dreams. there was a thread with shared dreams between Nomad, Raven Knight, MoSh and a few others, can you post the link Nomad? I don't remeber the thread

haha I was gonna post a thread with proof shared dreaming is possible but I need to be registered for 7 days. Only got 4 left to go!

well, according to me ..... its just a method used by the forum owners to attract members to this forum

I believe I had a shared dream with another user on this forum. We didn't know what the other person looked like, but we both saw each other and realized that when we woke up, our appearances were correct.

I agree with this. To the extent that I've had shared dream experiences, I won't post them because they involve other people and aren't mine to post. Also they tend to relate to highly personal subjects.

It seems to me that a full blown lucid shared dream would be hard to pull off. One way would be with a more powerful, alien mind mediating. Another way would be if one person projects most of the dream environment, and the other is more passive. Otherwise you'd need agreement on the details of the dream, which would require a high degree of intimate coordination. If I wrong about this, I'm open to be corrected though. Rather than a full-blown shared experience, it seems to me that a more common situation would be for an underlying idea substrate to be shared (idea is the wrong word here), while the image details being somewhat individual. As an example, in my dream of WakingNomad, he called my name, almost like a taunt or calling me out, but I doubt he knows my name. I think I was sensing something of his thought towards me, twisting and filtering it with my own assumptions and biases, then supplying my own image. I'm pretty sure I didn't make up all of it though, based on past experience with other dreams that I could objectively verify.

You are assuming that a dream is temporary thing that takes place within a mind.

I would love if this were true. Scary though, what if i unintentionally shared with someone whom i rather didn't know what i was dreaming about?
