Sounds like a normal vivid lucid dream. |

So I'm almost convinced that I am confusing an OBE with a lucid dream. I came to realize that I was dreaming while walking down the street I live on at night. I was really excited at first and quickly attempted to fly, though it was more like a glide. Either way, the whole experience felt extremely life like, the air was crisp and I could feel my hair blowing, when I walked I could feel the solid cement I was walking on, I could feel my body, look at my body, jump on the solid ground.my street looked exactly the same.. After I flew I really wanted to visit a local park, so I tried to think myself there, but I couldn't, I was still on the street and still completely "lucid". I then decided to just walk there. As I was walking everything looked so real and felt so real I was actually convinced I was outside and thought to myself "what the hell am I doing outside?" and got afraid but then I remembered that I flew so it couldn't be real life!! after some further thought I got really freaked out convinced that I was having an obe. I had an intense feeling of fear like I wanted to go back to my body, so I imagined my physical body and woke up to sleep paralysis with intense vibrating in my ears... I also remember this happening before I went to sleep that night too, but everytime I lifted my head the sound would go away so I figured it was just my ear to the pillow making strange sounds. then I read about astral projection and obes and it sounds just like my experience. Every other lucid dream Ive had doesnt seem so crystal clear and they have many dream like aspects to them and I can always tell they are dreams. |

Ohh alright! Thats all I needed to know. it was my very first lucid dream and came on by accident. I was practicing meditation for about a week and after sending my boyfriend off to work in the early AMs I went back to sleep and it happened. Then I started reading about them and have had a couple more very short ones. I need to have another vivid one, after I woke myself up out of fear I was really mad at myself lol. I quit the meditation though, I'm gonna start that again though I really think that its the key. |

Tale tell signs of astral projection are immediate awareness at onset of experience, vivid real life like images and environments, familiar enviroments at onset of experience, vibrations or light heat sensations in the physical body upon awakening. The normal process for obe and ap is when you notice the vibrations increase them then seperate from the physical body to the ethric body which is physical like but less dense. When you get at least 10feet from your body your consciousness sheds the ethric body and moves into the astral body where you fly, teleport, etc. I believe you skiped this whole process and projected your consciousness to the astral body. personally i have been catapulted from my bed into the astral flying 100mph over my neighborhood and have projected directly to my mental body in the past also. So it is possibe in my opinion to skip steps. congradulations on your astral experience!. namaste. |

When you are aware, what your mind expresses is creativity. It creates your life.
When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation
