Thread: Does this symbol mean anything?

i've seen something like that when i first knew about lucid dreaming it was on a signboard to a city bbut as we know thats not what you saw its just a very simplified version of the complex figure your brain meangled up , isnt it ?

Looks crop-circle-ish to me. Or maybe some kind of diagram of a molecule or something.

Rewind a last few days and I'm sure u'll find that you saw something similar or something that you associate with this sign.

As Darkmatters said, it really looks like crop circles.
Also it reminds me of a 2D view of some Solar System 'Globe' (not sure how its called in English, but I hope you understood)

But, that set aside, nice job on remembering it. 90% of the time I forget any sign, song or anything from a dream as soon as I wake up.

well each circle was actually a gem, and each gem was a different color. the plus thing in the middle appeared first, then the four things in the diagonal appeared, almost like it had a layered meaning.

I forgot the colors except for the large diagonal gems, one was orange, the other was purple.

sorry I was groggy this morning and forgot to mention that bit.

Edit: I do remember flying over some farmland, when I went to California for vacation awhile ago and a lot of the plots were circles... perhaps that was it.

My first impression was it was some kind of crazy genogram. Do you think those gems could represent you and people you know linked together in some way?
Or they're probably crop circles as already stated.

Well it has very traditional cross that is common in all sigils. If you think of sigils and symbols they are shortened versions of real things that are carved in subconcious and thus made incomprehensible for those who are not aware of its origins.

That particular sigil does not ring a bell on me. It has many sub parts that are normal in sigil making though.

That is a possibility, During the dream I was on a quest with allies to activate the gems and gain some sort of power. when the dream finished I had just activated the last gem, The sigil was the last thing I saw before I woke up, Probably why I remember it so clearly

I feel that the sign was more about personal power than about my links between friends. Thanks for your input though.

Well thanks for that, I do remember thinking about communist russia when I saw the second part of the Sign, the curved part. It reminded me of the Sickle part of the hammer and sickle in the flag.

Cross has many meanings. In pagan religions and cultures it could symbolize four elements, four wind directions or four seasons. Many other things as well. Since this one has 5 gems as you described it could hold a different meaning.

hmm... Interesting that you mentioned the four elements... I was thinking along the lines of the four elements being the outer gems, and the spirit or soul being the center, though this was after-the-fact analyzation, not what I was thinking about when I was dreaming.

I'm sure I will find the meaning eventually, I was just wondering it had meaning that I was unaware of. thanks all.

No, I didn't. The dream I saw the symbol in was fantasy themed, and the circles were gems, I just can't draw gems very well, so I abstracted it a bit, sorry about any confusion.
