Scientific Basis for Mutual Dreaming

that's interesting but raises many thoughts... this is going to be a reaaaally controversial subject...

Are you referring to Persinger's material-reductionist bent and LDers/OBErs here? Or controversy with his colleaques for venturing into these waters?
IMO,his interpretation that consciousness is based on known physics is wrong. He has in no way solved the 'hard problem' of qualia.Electromagnetism and matter do not equal qualia.Nowhere in the brain can we find an observer or a percept;only correlates. These correlates are not found for veridical NDEs.
The brain and it's processes obey the predictable laws of chemistry and physics. Our percepts, intelligence, creativity and purposeful behavior do not seem to follow from this. IMO,these folks are onto something:

But I think Persinger has done some important experiments here,I think it's awesome really!Though he is a materialist,he is pushing the boundaries of conscious experience beyond the skull. It would be great to these replicated.

What you say is kinda confusing due to the terminology. What i meant is that if something like what he describes can be done (and that is, build a technology that allows us to have access to information in other people's heads), this is going to be a tough subject... Think of all the ethics and stuff...

Oh,I see. Yeah I agree. We ( in the USA) already live in an authoritarian surveillance society as it is, I actually hope that nothing much comes of this technology.I can certainly imagine many ways that the military industrial complex would abuse this. It would be like the movie 'Minority Report' or something. I see you are in Greece. Shit, imagine what Goldman Sachs and Wall street banks would do with some technology like this? But I think Dr.Persinger seems to have a more idealistic and naive vision...like a mental internet or something.
Yeah,I was thinking more about implications for the nature of consciousness and it's possible interconnectedness.
