      Question Soo Close to O.B.E.

      Over the past few monthes, i have been studying lucid dreaming, and astral projection. I have learned much and many teqniques to having an o.b.e. until i found one that works well..
      But, this happened 3 times in the past few weeks, and is the closest i have been to having an OBE, but i reach the final stage, but nothing. here's what happens: after in concious trance, it gets hard to breath, (i do not panic), Heavy vibrations, i cant really hear, etc, but i try to immagine (using the rope teqnique) that i am climbing the rope, as i climb it gets heavier to breath and heavier vibrations, finally, all stops, but i feel the same, i try to get up, try many reality checks just to see that i am still in my physical body.. what does this mean? i have read that it is maybe due to fear, which cannot be true, i know that in NO WAY Possible that lucid dreaming/astral can harm you in Any way besides temporary fear, and i have no fear before i try to astral project.. what is this? how can i finally get passed the vibrations & breathing, and get out of my body? Please, i need a obe expert on this :/

      *And to note, i have never succesfully astral projected before, and those 3 times were the closest. But however i have had quite some lucid dreams, (never any fearful ones)*

      I'm sort of skeptical of O.B.E's, but I thought I'd comment on some of what you posted because I've experienced that before. I've had the vibrations, buzzing, and breathing issues.. but usually in a sleep paralysis state... meaning I'm not really in a very deep sleep. It usually means that I'm about to wake up, but for some reason was prevented from doing so. Usually I have to shake myself out of it...

      I think its possible that you were about to wake back up, but are preventing yourself from doing that...

      Im no obe expert but after 2 years of reading and practicing im in a space now where i feel i can induce the vibrations at will when i go to bed at night or afternoon, however i still have trouble seperating like you and have not ventured far beyond my neighborhood although my intentions are more for informational purposes to verify in waking life so im not required to go to some distant land to gain knowledge. Anywayz when i get the vibrations soon after it reaches a peak and i simply roll out on to floor. Its like a leap of faith when u feel the vibrations are strong enough you have to believe that you wont break the trance and get up and walk around like you normally do minus your physical shell. Also I've been pulled out during the heavy vibrational stage more then once, im assuming it was my guide helping me. I didn't ask for assistance but i bet if you did you would get it in some form or fashion. Hope this helps namaste.

      I've only read about OBEs never really tried them.
      But I had a partial one.
      Without knowing about it I was always using that technique when you try to move your body but without muscles. I didn't know what that was but if was fun to do when I was lying on the bed.
      Eventually I was in some half sleep half awake state and I felt myself floating like 30cm outside my body. It was very trippy but it lasted like 20 sec at most. I'm 100% positive that it was not a dream, and that was OBE.
      Before that I was also skeptical about it.

      And the thing I keep repeating, is when you want something too much, when you get obsessed over it its even harder to achieve it.
      Everyone probably had that moment when you are in a hurry and looking for your keys and you look for them for like 5 minutes and they are in such obvious place that you are surprised how you didn't see them the first time.
      So take a break, like one week. And then return to practicing it. But don't get frustrated by failures, just work on it, keep the positive attitude and be sure that the prize will come

      One key I would note is staying in trance as long as possible, this gives ur body time to get the feel of ur inner mind allowing you to leave in ur second body. Try rolling out of ur body instead that works every time. Keep at it, it just takes practice.
