This is Man of Shred here with DreamViews Pod cast. Today’s topic is quite a controversial one, the subject of Shared Dreaming. Can people really meet in the dream world or break-in to someone else’s dreams?

I am interviewing Waking Nomad who has been interested in Shared Dreams all his life. And he has an uncanny ability to pull people into the Shared Dreaming reality.

Ha, O yeah, just don’t turn it into too much of a freak show.

So since this is a Lucid Dreaming pod cast I’m going to ask you a bit about that as well. But first of all I’d like you to tell me how you got into dreaming and lucid dreaming altogether. Yah, start there.

When I was a young child, this is significant so, I’m 34 years old, I was born in 1975. My age has a lot to do with my whole lucid dreaming and life that’s why I threw it in there.

I’ve always had good dream-recall because even when I was really young, I can remember being 3 years old and waking up in the morning and my parents and I, (I was the first child) my parents and I would all talk about our dreams. I didn’t know the difference between reality and “reality” in the dream world so I was around 7 or 8 years old.

I started having a lot of nightmares and I would use lucidity to just wake-up. I didn’t know anything about dream control. I was raised, my parents became born-again Christians when I was 2 years old. So I was raised with the whole Pentecostal, Charismatic, Protestant, Christian archetypes.

So, when I experienced sleep paralysis I would think it was demonic.

Anyway I’m going off on a tangent, (hehehe)

(hehehe) well yah well, um, yeah I can really relate to a lot of that. I was very interested in dreams fairly little as well. I even remember in kindergarten I even had a little dream journal.

I was always fascinated by dreams and I would tell people my dreams but I forced my self to forget my dreams because I had so many nightmares. Let me tell you this recurring type of nightmare I experienced:

(4:44) which drove me to learn more about lucidity and eventually experiment with astral projection.

Ok, that sounds good.

Ok, so I would have a nightmare. Some Monster, some Demon was chasing me.

Mm mm.

And then I would have a false awakening. In my false awakening I was experiencing sleep paralysis, which I had experienced before in waking life that absolutely terrified me.

Yes

So, have a nightmare, a false awakening, in my false awakening I’m still asleep and I am still dreaming I don’t realise it, I’m not lucid any more. I lost my lucidity because of my false awakening, because all I used lucidity for was just to wake-up from nightmares.

And I feel a dark presence in the room just like you do during sleep paralysis.

Feel a dark presence in the room and of course I assume it’s a demon.

A demon that wanted to make me fall asleep so he could go into my mind and make me have another nightmare. And often the demon would be sitting on my chest.

Then I would feel an overwhelming, I would try and cry out, and it would just go, (mmmwa).

I would try and move and I couldn’t because I was dreaming that I was in sleep paralysis. And I would just have an overwhelming urge to fall asleep as if I was hit with some type of knock-out drug or injected with some heavy-duty tranquilizer.

Yes so, I would go from that false awakening and fall asleep in the dream and be right back to my night mare.

I had this over and over again and I actually thought I had demons and went through exorcisms in church.

It kind of makes me wonder how can children see and experience those sort of things when later on, at my age, I have to struggle really hard to get any trippy experience of astral, shared dreaming, any thing of that nature.

Because we learn to forget, we’re taught to forget. I remember as a child asking my mother about where I was before I was born.

And she said, “You were nowhere” and I said well that doesn’t make sense. I remember, I was about 4 or 5 years old.

Asking this, I said, “don’t lie to me, that doesn’t make sense. I don’t understand, where was I before I was born”. I was really persistent. You know how children are. So she said, “Well you were nowhere, you didn’t exist”.

And I said, “Exist, what is exist mean?”

And she said, “you weren’t alive”.

And I said, “You mean I was dead”

And she said, “No, you just weren’t here yet”.

Then I said, “Well was I in heaven before it?”

And she said, “No you just, you were nowhere”.

And then that thought of just like not existing terrified me but here was my mother telling me this, I felt like I had to believe her. Since then I’ve come to conclusion or more like realisation that Reincarnation is real and that’s why I thought that because it is ingrained into you.

Right right right, exactly, and it’s like ya the world of our language it kind of forces us to perceive the sort of reality that is so limited that if you give yourself to it completely you know ….

All right now we’re back. So now we’re going to switch roles and Nathan is going to ask me about my dreaming experience especially with Shared Dreaming. I am going to hand it over to Nathan.

Tell me about your experience with dreaming as a child and what got you started keeping a dream journal in kindergarten.

It’s a very complex story. I’m going to try and keep it as short as possible so I can move on.

At the time I had just been taken away from my mother because she had a mental illness. So I spent the first few years of my life around that and since she was the only influence on my perception of reality, that perception was just utterly shattered.

And then I went to live with my dad and I actually had a similar conversation about death. And for years I wondered about that.

So naturally I was in and out of trouble early on in school and so I would see a school counsellor regularly and I would tell her about all these dreams that I would have because it was really fascinating that I would have all these weird dreams. And I began to notice the difference between my waking, normal memories and my dream memories. I used to confuse the two.

And so she encouraged me to write about them in a journal so, I think I only kept a couple. I think I only wrote a couple of dreams in that journal but yeah, that’s how I got started.

It’s kind of embarrassing that the actual first lucid dream that I had was around the same time I was still kind of wetting the bed. And I noticed that when I was in my dreams I’d have to go to the washroom. When I’d go to the washroom in my dreams I went to the washroom in real life.

So, one night I had to go to the washroom, I was still in a dream and I suddenly realised I was still in a dream. And I thought, “I don’t want to wet the bed, I got to get up and I got to go”. So I tried to wake myself up. I tried to open my eyes but I’d only rolled my eyes to the back of my head, right.

And so in this dream I was running. It was night time and I went to the school and I was looking for a washroom but at the same time I was trying to wake-up. And that was basically the only lucid dream I had until I can to DreamViews.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed.

I dont know about WN but my mum was offered phlamidamide. She said "No". The nurse got a bit short with her because the nurse said it was good for her to take phlamidermide for several reasons. My Mam felt a bit hurt at the nurse being a bit mad at her because mum had not had any shandies or cigerets to give her baby, (me) the best start in life. There were rumurs that recently, babies were being born with no arms, (just hands sticking out of shoulders). And the mums had been given phlamidamide.

if mam had taken the phlamidamide to make the pregnancy easier I would have had to live my life with no arms.

all the phlamidamide babies are my age now. I am 53 in October this year.

That's something you say when consensus reality shifts between dreams and systems makes forgery to cover up powers of dream. In all due respect for you both. But i have firm memory of what Jane is claiming

[this is edit] it's like i was coming to tell back here about some absurdity that happened (namely i was googling 130 for post count thread but got lead by.ways of images i found and ended up to get some shuteye) after waking up my post count was 131.. i just realised it and came back here, but my post count was on 132 which is the two messages i've written after waking up. I happen to trust my memory over asumption of afterlogic

You are a sinner for trying too hard and, thus, conning yourself into believing your projected subjectivity in place of reality.

Nonetheless, I, too, have firm memory of what Jane claims. The catch is this scurrilous, suburban, potentially false prophet was jesting.

I have a hard time in believing that Jesus could be cabable of any jestings. That's like so apocrypha, I mean only the evangelium of thomas casts a light of joker into Cheesus. EDIT or ADD 'bout MOVIES: watching waking life (from screen) over and over again reveals me deeper and deeper levels of every scene, also new visual ques start to catch my attention, watching it with different ppl deepens the experince.. some times I'm even sure 'bout changes in the film

Vanilla Sky could do the same thing, Paprika I've watched for many many times, Science of sleep is yet to be seen, for Inception I could give a second go. Fisrt time it was too matrixlike and nonimaginative, but then again you can watch any movie as dream movie. Also I apologize for what I said earlier. I meant it in the spirit of fun, but watching your video again I get the feeling there is more going on here that initially thought. I don't know that I will be able to enter the portal yet. My lucid dreams have been very strange as I posted about in another thread. I am really a n00b at this sort of thing. A knowledgeable and intuitive n00b, but a n00b nonetheless. But you can certainly come through the portal to me and attempt to wake me up in my dream to come with you. I give you an open invitation.

Last night after posting here I went to sleep after nidnight. I thought about holding nice, comfortable, round-golf-balls, (or bigger) of chalk as I dropped-off.

Then the rocks around me became rounder but I didn't want boring white hand-size rock, I wanted darker rocks.

I began seeing exciting dark blue and black chunks of roundish hand-sized rocks. I picked some up and filled a little white bag.

It was time to go and I was so proud of what I collected that I became a little nervous that someone might covet my lovely rocks and try to "aquier", (steal them). But then I remembered we were just a high school geology class on an excursion to collect rocks so I stopped being nervous and relaxed.

Just now this reminded me of something I read in Lobsang Ramper long ago where he said that when he was a little kid in school, in Tibet, he and his siblings would go to a special place in the mountains to collect chalk for use in school.

Ha! I found it. Here it is. Chapter One "Early Days at Home" page 19 of his first book, The Third Eye. Published the year before I was born 1958.

"Our schoolroom was quite large, at one time it had been used as a refactory for visiting monks, but since the nee buildings were finished, that particular room had been made into a school for the estate. Altogether there were about sixty children attending. We sat cross-legged on the floor, at a.table, or long bench, which was about eighteen inches high.

We sat with our backs to the teacher, so that we did not know when he was looking at us. It made us work hard all the time. Paper in Tibet is hand made and expensive, far to expensive too waste on children.

We used slates, large thin slabs about twelve inches by fouteen inches. Our "pencils" were a form of hard chalk which could be picked up in the Tsu La Hills, some twelve thousand feet higher than Lhasa, which was already twelve thousand above sea-level.

I used to try and get the chalk with the redish tint, but sister Yaso was very fond of a soft purple. We could obtain quite a number of colours: reds, yellows, blues, and greens. Some of the colours, I believe, were due to the presence of metalic ores in the soft chalk base. Whatever the cause, we were glad to have them."

I found chalk in a mountain quarry when I was 11.

Yes Thomas square is the Corner Stone of The Freemasons in the Pacific. Corner Castle, Corner of the Chessboards, the Castle, The Rook, Circle and the Square, dominating the Feminin Devine Earth energy with Male energy, male doninating woman. Human kind dominating Nature that is the symbolism of the Square around the Circle and in the (roughly) North-Western corner there is a stone tower which is a phallus.

The Town’s Square is built on coral, (the bones of the reef) which was dumped into there after they carved the (?) into the Honallulu Harbour killing all the reef saying it was dead but lying.

They put Masonic symbols into their giant Masonic Seal there, when they first built Thomas Square. Then planted the Banyan Tree, a non indigenous (?) tree of Asia to break-up the bones or the reef, symbolizing, using immigrants, (non indigenous) people, Asian people to destroy Hawaiian Culture. In other words keep us fighting against each other while they secretly laugh and mock us behind the scenes.

The original definition of the name of that place that I will not utter, translated it means:

“The pain and ecstasy of birth”

Which is mocked by the mock orange hedges around there, (the Square) instead of (?) plants and by having the water within the Square, (symbolic of birth).

Also portals, the Black Smoking Obsidian Mirror of (?), the eight-pointed square or eight-pointed star among other things.

False awakening

My bed wakes me up. I am fully clothed, asleep, on top of a double bed. The bed is pleasantly trembling. As I awaken the trembling gets stronger. Now the bed rocks onto its left legs to right legs and back again several times then stops and goes quiet so I get up.

This bed is twice the size of my real bed but some how I accept it as reality. I decide to push it under my window and it moves too easily, wieghtlessly.

A TV on top of a four-foot chest of draws starts rocking. Maybe it is possesed so I reach out my hand to deliver it. I put my hand on it and say, "In Jesus Name" and it comes to rest and seems at peace.

I look back at my big white bed and there is a good looking young man under the white sheets and doona. "That's cheeky", I think to myself. I wake him and he tries to kindly and gently massage my arms but I insist he leave. As I get him out the door, by way of appology I tell him, "I am 'A' sexual" and I hope he understands that I am not attracted, sexually, to either sex.

I am in my 18 year old body because my arms and hands are like they were when I was young. I noticed that when I laid my hand on the rocking TV to set it free.

A mobile is ringtoning. I go to the bed and pick up a phone. I think it is mine but it opens like a book so I realise it must belong to the guy who was in my bed so I leave my room to find and give it to him.

There's a bit more but I think that is enough. I HOPE my dream hit.

Sanity has it good sides. Apollonian, logos and all. Sometimes bit judgemental. Unsanity on the both hands is being able to cope with both previous worlds knowing and trusting your own experiences and learning to see the shifting differencies. Value of sanity and thrill of insanity.
