Care to share your spirit guide experiences?
So, recently I've gotten back into Lucid Dreaming and my main goal first and foremost for me is to meet my spirit guide. I want to do this because I feel like it will greatly, hugely advance my spiritual development. I want to meet my spirit guide(s) and then go on an adventure of great learning across dimensions, time and space :D.
But before that I'd like to get acquainted with them... so 6 months ago I went about doing this through a dream. I got lucid twice and then shouted to the sky 'I WANT TO MEET MY SPIRIT GUIDE!!'. Each time it got me ejected out of the dream and into SP. One of the times it was just simple, normal SP but the other I felt myself spinning quite quickly in circles and instantly I knew I had felt this before, it felt very familiar and there was a strangely soothing energy attached to it, I am certain I experienced an astral projection when i was 4-6(people say that when you start spinning in SP its very easy to slip out your body). Nevertheless I got scared and went on to 'break' the SP. I interpreted that as my spirit guides wanting to meet me on the astral plane.
So fast forward a month or so before today, I was lazy to lucid dream so I decided to do some guided meditations to meet my spirit guides. I ended up meeting 3 beings in my visualizations. One I'm pretty sure is my spirit guide, a lion type creature sorta similar to Nanaki from FF7, which I find strange and synchronous because ive been told Nanaki is like the loyal calm loving and wise type (haven't played the games). This lion showed up in my dreams before, It was lying beside me and I was just sitting there existing with it, it was veryyy calm and peaceful. I also experienced some heavy synchronicity that let me know, ok this guide I definitely have...
The names I got I think are bullshit, I'm not gonna be too bothered about names until It's confirmed in the dream. THe other two are interesting, one's a girl of 12-18 who wears a white dress, scandinavian looking, blonde and the other an bald African warrior who wears a leopard skin loincloth, pretty much looks exactly like Djimon Hounsou. And they make sense to me but I'm still not convinced that these are my guides, for sure, for definite, how I perceived them... but I believe I have 3. One for spiritual things, one for love/relationships and one for uh.. life goals. I'm being veeerry cautious because I want to be discerning about what I'm reaching out to for teaching. The lion one i'm 99% sure of the other maybe 75%. I want to have the 100% confirmation of my guides IN A LUCID DREAM Lol so I don't perceive them how I'd like to from my imagination
So yesterday I had 3 lucids throughout the night, infact the whole nights dreams was very vivid but anyway, had 3 lucids. In the last one I remembered my goal and once again shouted to the sky, 'I WANT TO MEET MY SPIRIT GUIDE!!' xD Lol. And got ejected into SP, this time I just felt vibrations and just ended up wanting to break it, it was uncomfortable, I didn't want to try an astral projection (never had one) even though I'm interested in it, so I just let it pass.
Now my thoughts that are... Lol don't go shouting anything in your dream, it's bound to just destabalise it and eject you out of it. So when I'm lucid again tonight I'll ask a DC nicely to lead me to my guides lol.
Not sure where I'm going with this but I guess I'm asking...Ha anyone else here had similar experiences? what are your experiences with your dream/spirit guide? How long did it take you to find them? What were they like and most importantly what did they teach you, where did they take you what did they show you? Oh and did you meet them on the astral plane... when lucid in a dream or a meditation/visualization? Thanks. ;)
