Could i have been sleeping with my eyes open?

Yesterday, about 4:00 in the early morning, i had a stomach, and it woke me up. But then i woke up to take a crap but it couldnt come out so i went back to sleep. Then the stomach was bothering me again, so i went in the restroom and it still didnt come out. So i woke up at 7:30 to go to school. And yesterday was a big day for my school, they called it "Spirit day".

Spirit day is the day where you show your spirit for your school. And it was a fun and activities day. When i went home i was really tired. I took a nap at about 3:00. I woke up at 4:21.

The only reason im telling you all these information is because it could effect the point of this thread.

So i still had the stomach. I started to take some medicine. I took this drug, i didnt know what it was called but it's a circle shape, and it's like candy, you could chew it. I took like about 5 of these . And i went to sleep at about 10:00. I knew i was awake, but kinda drowsy and i thought i have been watching the tv the whole time, but when i looked at the clock it was about 2:00!

Have i been sleeping with my eyes open, half- conscious?

Or i just didn't remember my dream?

I need some answers

welcome to insominia i used to have it (and still do a little) this site has helped me resolve some inner conflicts and actually lose some of my insomnia. but yea thats what insomnia is like you are just drowsy sleepy, its horrible and you can only get 3-4 hours or less of sleep a night. it could be what ever you took actually made stay up in that state, a friend of mine has that problem with nyquil
