Astral journey to void like space

I had what I think was an obe leading to an astral projection a few weeks ago, but am not sure of wherever what I experienced was an obe then a lucid dream, anyway I am interested if anyone has any info on the 'place' I visited or had similar experiences.

I first started off with that familiar feeling that comes before having an obe, in that i felt my astral body wake up and my limbs starting to detach from my physical body, I then felt a force from above layering pressure on me and I felt a bit dense but I eventually broke through and heard a pop and then kind of whoosed up through my ceiling through a black tunnel, I then arrived somewhere and was like a ghostly white sprit, and the place I was at was quite unnerving

I was kind of a white ghost floating around in a black space or void surrounded by other ghostly figures, they mostly looked like lost souls, I wasn't particully scared but all the same the area I was in had an aura of loss and foggyness and despair about it, like an sea of lost souls or something, I floated around for a bit and then found my self getting sucked towards a single point, almost like a vortex in the void I was floating in. I then simply returned to a state of lucid dreaming where I went to a party of some sort, and I remained lucid for about 20 minutes or so before going back to sleep.

Has anyone had any similar experiences of 'void' like spooky areas while astral travelling (if indeed I was astral travelling) as I am interested as to what a visit to this dark place could have meant.
