I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place to put this, but I couldn't find a better spot. |

Ohhh, I see, I see. Am I in the right state so as 'how' to do it? Thinking of trying it now...now that I have the insight on it. |

i personally im not a subscriber to the whole dream sharing thing but the beyond dreaming forum is dedicated to it |

Like nesgirl said this is very possible. I have never done it myself but there are a few peeps on DV that have. I am sure it takes a lot of practice and another person sleeping and willing to meet you in a place predetermined place. Good luck. |

Yeah this is called "shared dreaming". I'll move it to the Beyond Dreaming section where you should get some more answers for it. |

Well, as I said in another thread, I met someone named Carlos in my last LD. It should be interesting to see if I meet up with him again sometime. (LD or wouldn't real life be too cool?) I have only had one experience of possible dream sharing. I didn't really believe in it before then, but when the person I dreamed about made an offhand remark the next day... it just seemed a bit more than coincidence. I also know some people in real life who are into lucid dreaming and they believe quite strongly in "sharing". We have regular "did you see me?" conversations. Most of the time they have dreamed about me, but I didn't dream about them. Or vice versa. I think maybe only once we met up on the same night. |

"Before you slip into unconsciousness..."
Yep its possible but from the experience that I've had with it there has to be some kind of strong soul connection with you and the sharing party. For instance a relative or a pure loved one. Someone who is extremely extremely close to you. |
|
hehe, I attempted dream sharing last night... was an odd experience |

With the above said, I'll post another reply involving a conversation Court & I had: |

I have been trying to meet somebody at the Eiffel Tower for a year, and I can never get to the Eiffel Tower. Does that mean there is something wrong with our connection? |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
I tried doing this once. I wanted to meet my brother in an LD, so I found some strange-looking train station and looked around the side of the building, expecting him to be there. I looked and about 15 people walked out of a miniscule crack in the the wall, none of which were my brother. I turn around, having given up, and he is standing there behind me. We then proceed to walk through the woods and carry on a great deal of discussion about LDing in general. After awhile we had walked completely around my dream world (it was very small) and we were back at the train station. He told me he needed to leave and climbed aboard the nearest train. After I woke up he was sitting at the computer beside my bed. So he wasn't in my dream at all. It must of been a damn fine replica of him my subconscious made for me, because the conversation was very intelligent and made sense. |

Well, having experienced one myself, I tend to believe that there's a possibility of this being for real. |

You probably think "oh no, here comes the party pooper again". I don't see evidence saying they are real, so I'm going to stay with the safe bet that is, well, they are not real. Spooky coincidences do have to happen (probability, averages and population), and it's really hard to verify them sometimes. Asking another person what they experienced, to compare it with your own, can be a problem because you can (and I certainly do) unconsciously fill holes in where I was a bit sketchy on something with whatever their response was. That, and the questions you ask can give the other person some hint of what was going on. Ultimately it makes for a convincing case when you've just had one and you're going to be a bit overexcited anyway, but I don't think that it's really feasible/possible for this invisible link to just...well, work. Don't start on quantum mechanics either. |
|
Yep, that's sort of what I meant. But when you experience a huge coincidence, it's hard to shrug off |

Yep, basically, although I feel the chances involved with what happened to me is quite a bit larger than 'I thought of so-and-so and then they died' |

I have done this before with my boyfriend. About 3 months ago, we always talked about trying to LD together. It wasn't happening so we gave up on it, but a week later I LD'd and he was there and I took us to the beach. Anyway, he called me the next day and told me he had a dream about us going to the beach. |
