I don't think this should be in Beyond Dreaming. You'll probably get better responses somewhere else. |

When I first started experiencing these auditory hallucinations, I thought I was going insane or something. lol Later on after I did a little study I learned that it was a normal process of falling asleap, and most people don't notice them. |

Now that you mention it, I had that myself! I thought that I was probably just imagining it. Sometimes I get sleep paralysis and things sound more clear like a girl next to a waterfall or a man laughing (which freaked me out in the morning lol) instead of faint murmurings. I didn't think that I would be able to hear it in the daytime until now, so I'm glad I'm not the only one! |

I can get these when I'm very relaxed right after I wake up. For me its like having really high gain (sensitivity) on my intuition. If there's a source of white noise, like a fan or something that I can selectively amplify with my imagination, that makes it easier. If I have dream that has a particularly clear point, often I'll wake up, and the point is summarized or clarified in a few words afterwards. On some occasions the point will instead be made by something that I actually hear or see very soon after I wake up, not a hallucination. |
