      Question Lucid Dream or OBE?

Hey so I think I may have had an OBE yesterday but I'm not too sure so I'm going to explain everything. I tried to WILD after 5 hours of sleep but after too many times of drifting off and waking back up I decided to just sleep. I dreamt that I was in my room and I was checking the time on my phone and it didn't add up, but I woke up (I think) instead of doing a RC.

As soon as I thought I was in my body I tried to just levitate off it. I started to feel it in my legs but my heart raced cause it was my first near success and it stopped. Then I willed my whole body to go down through the bed and I felt it really strongly and it worked. But somehow I was levitating above my body, I was shocked and had full consciousness but things weren't clear at all. I touched my back (my shirt was off and my head was in the other direction which is why I'm not sure it was an OBE) which was a bad idea but I did it reflexively to enhance the experience and I couldn't rub my hands together. Touching my back felt as real as it would right now (I've never had a LD longer than a couple seconds so I can't compare to that) albeit a little sweatier (damn heat). Then I was back in my body and I opened my eyes and it was definitely the physical world as I moved my head and felt muscles etc. I tried to leave again and heard a really loud buzzing in my head and tried to enhance it but it eventually went away.

So do you guys think it was an OBE, if it was why was my body different?

Could be both. Many of my lucid dreams start with me rising out of my body, and I tend to think of them as OBEs as well. Or maybe it's the other way around, and I think of OBEs as a form of lucid dreaming. If you believe in OBEs, then it was an OBE. If you don't want to believe in them, then you can chock it up to lucid dreaming.

I'm not sure what you mean by "why was my body different". Everyone experiences these things differently. Do you mean because you could feel your muscles as you would while awake?

My body was different cause my head looked like it was in the opposite direction from where it actually was when I woke up and I didn't have a shirt. I guess what I'm trying to ask is are OBE's always identical to the physical or are there discrepancies?
