From what I hear, IF mind control were possible, or any other psi ability, you would have to have a great mastery of your mind.
I was thinking since brain activity increases while your dreaming, that would be a perfect time to try controlling people in the waking life using your mind while dreaming....
Im probably not explaining this very well, but hopefully you get what im saying...
Anyway, for those who DO get what im saying, do you think this would be possible?
If I understand you corrctly, you are asking if you have a better chance of controlling people that are awake from within your dream right?
It could be possible, however, I am skeptical about it for a couple of reasons:
First, I've never heard of a documented case where mind control has been proven.
Second, while a person is awake, there is so much stimuli pouring into their brain, it would take a stimulus of equal or greater magnitude to even be felt over the noise.
just because it's more doesn't mean you're close to being able to do something like that.
One thing that was weird though was from this one time I was in a hypnagogic state. It's one of those situations where you know you wake up in the morning and you decide to sleep in so when you go back to sleep you're in a half-dreamy mode. For some reason while I was in this state, I remembered an episode of one of those paranormal/beyond belief type shows that showed a true story where a lady was able to mentally turn on this alarm while she was tied up by a robber. Remembering this, I decided to try something like that too. So I had this picture of the light bulb (where in the show it showed it turning on and flashing) in my room and just focused on it. At this point I could really feel my head becoming alll warm, full and flowing. However soon, I was paralyzed from fear when I heard this rumbling sound on both sides of my ears. It was a sound of when someone dropsg a somewhat heavy object on your mattress by your ears, and it bounced around 4 times. I didn't open my eyes for a while because I was afraid of what I would see. However, I'm pretty sure it was just some other outside sound around the house that was manipulated so that I perceived it this way. Nevertheless, it was still freaky.
I've always visualized this situation as a bee's stinger. I know this is going to be confusing but it is hard to describe in text but here it goes. To focus energy is like gonig up the stinger (back to the body of the bee) To be able to get into this state is like going down one of the jagged edges of the stinger, such that when you are focusing energy (going up) you get caught at the tip of one of the lower jagged edges (because you've already dipped down low enough, past the threshold. Therefore, if you're able to have enough energy, you can break through that secondary tip of the jagged edge, and be able to affect things from this other level. I remember this as the feeling I had when this all occured.
