I am not talking about what makes them different by definition. I am asking what ACTUALLY makes them different from a lucid dream. Is there a different feeling to it? Do the Dream Characters feel more like real beings than simple entities created from you mind? I have never tried Astral Projection or OBE's, and i am a bit curious of how they differ from just a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. Any response will be greatly appreciated. The OP in that thread lists thirty similarities between Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection, which makes it seem as if it they are one and the same thing. :roll:
I believe it is how awake you are during the experience. At a certain level of awareness you astral project. But Lucid dreaming and astral projection are NOT the same thing.
Exactly what are the differences? In order words, how do we test, to see whether or not we are in a lucid dream or AP?Quote:
