Lucid Dreaming-Gateway to the Inner Self

Robert Waggoner's Lucid dreaming book Gateway to the Inner Self (2008)

      Acknowledgements

The person I need to thank the most is the person who challenged me the most. Ed Kellogg, Phd.

More than any othet lucid dreamer, Ed pushed me to search deeper, examine lucid awareness more thoughtfully, and and question the apparent limits of lucid dreaming.

I found his expertise and insight, particularly in the areas of dream healing, mutual dreaming, and lucid dreams of the deceased simply unparalleled.

This book, and chapters 13, 16 and 17 specifically, exist, in large measure, because of Ed's generosity of spirit and friendship.

Many others have provided precious support along the way. ...
I bought this book today. Have you read it? What do you think of it? What bits did tou like best?

I'm going to skip to chapters 13, 16 and 17 first then let you know what I think.

      Please give me your views.

I read this book and really liked it. There were a very few things that the author said that I didn't like, but I can't remember what it was because I read the book about a year ago....

However, what's so very important about this book is that it makes very clear the true power of lucid dreaming. Maybe I'll look over it again and post again.

      Also, happy birthday! :'D

I can't cut a break with the iasd.

I earned what turned out to be a permanent bann off their (once) very popular forum on 11-11-10. I was in trouble again in last years pdc, the host asked me to take down anything discussed at the pdc or I would be locked-out. I think I had only advertised the wonderful pdc here on dreamviews but I got a mod to take down several posts so I wouldn't get locked-out of the pdc.

Then I enjoyed partcipating in the three pdc psi-dream games.

This year I was soo nervous about registering for the pdc. I waited till the last day (Sunday 7-Oct-12) then I asked them to tell me exactly what I could share, with my friends and Dreamviews.

      Next day I was locked-out.

I thought maybe the site had crashed or something so I asked on a couple of iasd yahoogroups if any one else was having trouble logging in to the pdc for "read only".

Finally I hot this private email.

      Hi Debra

Due to the fact that you stated clearly on the Conference Evaluation thread that you were planning to do something at the conference that you know to be a violation of the conference guidlines, we have removed you conference access and will refund your registration fee.

Please cease from posting or printing any IASD PDC materials anywhere.

      Richard via the conference commitee.

After a good cry I sent this reply:

      Hi rw

      Ok

Thanx for the $45 refund. Im on the disability pension so that is much appreciated.

      Mmmm, what next?

Last week I got an idea and orded 10 copies of the late D. Scott Rogo's book titled Leaving the Body. Then I browsed the shelves and bought Robert Waggoner's book "Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self".

After reading your sad email I went to put another $50 on my 10 book order because I hope to have them paid off by the time the shipment arrives in about six weeks.

As I walked my idea developed.

By 2014 I hope to have 100 of Scott Rogo's book, "Leaving the Body", 30 of Robert Waggoner's book, "Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self" and 30 of Bobbie Ann Pimm's book, "Notes from a dreamer ... on Dreaming: A personal journey in Dream Interpretation".

Then in, say, January 2014 I'll offer book 1 as a gift (a bribe hehehe) to each participant in my "Sync psi-dream (Mandala) game.

Then in, say, April 2014 I'll offer book two, as a gift to old participants but new participants get book one.

Then in, say, July 2014 I'll offer Bobbie Ann Pimm's book, "Notes from a Dreamer...on Dreaming: A personal journey in dream interpretation" to those who did January and April.

If June is a person's second participation they get Robert Waggoner's book, "Lucid Dreaming: Gayeway to the Inner Self".

      But

If June is a persons first participation in my Mandala dream game they will get book number one, the late D. Scott Rogo's "Leaving the body".

      (...)

If I can't get folk interested by 2015 I'll give-up. But not till I've given it my best.

That (above) was my good bye letter to the iasd. I'm dropping-out of here too till 2014 when I can offer the bribes to get folk to have a go at my amazing Dream Sync game.

      See "U" in 2014.
