      Dream within a Dream

So if you were in a lucid dream and you went to sleep(which I think would probably wake you up) but if you were actually able to fall a asleep and go into another dream then another and another would you be able to when you wake up wake out of one dream into another into another till you wake up for real?
Dreams that last for a few seconds
      house more wisdom
      Then those that last forever.
      It is always our nightmares
      that are the most vivid.
But if the vividness was taken away
would they really be so scary?

That would be a once in a gazillion experience. Sure it seems perfectly possible... but soooo unlikely for all those things to happen in one sleeping. I've had a lot of false awakenings in a row, but I don't think I have gone to sleep in a lucid, to start a new dream, and then wake up from that one to be back in my other lucid.

For me, personally, the intensity of the experience of a lucid dream is far too exciting to be able to sleep.

Interesting idea, and would be interested to hear if anyone has done it......but for me, I can't replicate LD's regularly enough to waste one by sleeping in it

I've also had a lot of false awakenings in a row Michael, it freaks me out, takes me ages to settle when I actually do wake up.

Whenever I've done the dream within a dream thing, I've always woken up in the same order. That is to say if I fall asleep in a dream, I wake up back in the first dream before waking up in the real world.
