      daytime OBE sensation???

sometimes in the day when i am fully awake and not tired or anything i feel this slight OBE sensation. it feels like the sense of were my body is is slightly of to the side. actualy now i think of it i think its always to the left side. and it slowly drifts out a bit. when i catch it happening i know that i could just snap out of it or shake it of but i keep it going and try to go deeper into it because its interesting and fun. it usualy happens when im looking at the comuter or reading.

any ideas what this might be?

It's a short shift of awareness. You are awareness so if you move it slightly and become unaware of the physical shell, you are in a sense there, at least with a part of your awareness.

Einstein said that objects and things only exist for you when we put awareness on them that's what he ment by "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one".
So if you imagine something and put your awareness on it, doesn't that mean that it exist for you then? It's just a fun thought though.

Ok it obviously doesn't exist physically, but mentally or astrally it exists in your reality.

With a fully relaxed body and mind you can move your full awareness from your physical body. So next time you feel this strange feeling of your awareness of the hand differently from your physical hand, try to feel it and imagine it move it can be a useful practice if you decide to combine this with a relaxed body and mind.

      Inlakesh.

Wow, that's totally awesome! I think I have read something like that, not sure where it was, maybe here on DV. Someone was able to shift his whole awareness few feet behind himself, so he both saw what's infront, but he also saw himself from behind.
