      Earliest dream / hallucination

Hello all! I am new here so if this post is out of place then I apologise.

One of my very earliest memories as a child is a dream I had. This dream was very intense and I still remember it very vividly to this day. It has probably been one of the most powerful and intense experiences I have ever had. I will attempt to describe it as best I can and I look forward to reading some of your similar experiences, thoughts or reflections on this.

I must have been around the age of 4 when it happened, sleeping in my bed room and I began to dream; this dream was more of a traumatic nightmare than a dream.

It was as if I was passing (out of body) through a plain of a dark shade of purple that had frequent columns of 3d geometric shapes. This plain seemed to have no defined space or earth. When passing through this strange realm I began to hear incredibly loud shouting and screams as if someone was very angry at me, there was so much aggression in these shouts and I felt very terrified and traumatised by them
      .
Sometime during this I woke up, my mind still half asleep, but I am certain that I was awake with some form of consciousness. I was in complete darkness staring at the ceiling when I saw a shape, with looked to me like some kind of large pin shaped object. This pin then proceeded to slowly fall towards me, I tried rolling around in an attempt to get out of the way, but it was always homing in on me.

At this time I was terrified, crying and desperate, I ran to my mothers room and into her bed, she was trying to comfort me, it was making me feel better however when I glanced up at the ceiling the pin would reappear.

Eventually I calmed down and fell back to sleep in my mothers bed.

I am wondering if any of you have experienced something similar. Where a dream becomes a waking hallucination.

The experience is not that strange. My mother used to have a mix of dream and waking all the time. Not everyone experiences it often, but some do. It is like your body wakes up, but the dream portion of your mind stays engaged. I have experienced it a few times. I woke up once and the room was dark, but a little girl was glowing and looking at me. I know I had actually looked up and around in my room, but part of my brain was still dreaming.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

I remember a strange dream from when I was very little, like still at the age where I crawled rather than walked. I remember the dream was black and white and I was crawling around, everything was kind of towering above me because of my proximity to the floor, and I crawled past this coffee table and saw a big cow skull (like what you might picture finding in the desert on a Western movie lol). It really scared me! That's all I remember of the dream but I must've encountered something similar in my waking life that really stuck with me.
