I have some questions about the astral dimension
1. What do the demons look like?
2. How do I know if I am in a higher or lower astral plane?
3. Can an experienced astral projecter go to far away places in the universe, like nebulas? ( I would really like to see the hourglass nebula )
4.how long does it take to have your first astral projection if you excercise once a day?

really interesting diagram of dimensions there gab. i wonder if he put the colors specifically or just random. it's got me kind of connecting the dots on why the tunnels of light are different colors.
tasca i wanted to respond to this yesterday but i hesitated because of your very first question. if you are pursuing this i'd really recommend doing some meditation to keep these sorts of thoughts out of your mind entirely. just thinking about negative things like that kind of invites it to you, know what i mean? the fact that you put that as your first question makes me think maybe you're dwelling on that somewhat? if i'm wrong i apologize in advance. keep in mind there are no true forms outside of this one we're in now so really they could look like whatever they want.
I'll make an attempt to make a response in the same kind of way that the great Robert Monroe himself would give. So this is entirely based on my view of that man and not based on any personal experience that I have yet!
1. What do the demons look like?
Demons is just like the word or concept of angel, something that is based on your association with that word. But it's mainly categorised as an evil entity (with a slightly higher consciousness than a human), so it's sort of like asking how does an evil person look like, and well the obvious answer is that an demon is not evil because of the fact that he is a demon, but because of what it has done. So if a "demon" haven't done anything that you would consider evil he would probably in your eyes be considered an angel. So you see there is no evil or good only balance and consciousness. Although often the demons you encounter in your experiences are just a representation of something that you need to work on, so in order to enjoy your astral experiences you first need to work with yourself and your fears and challenges.
2. How do I know if I am in a higher or lower astral plane?
Lower frequency existence are usually filled with lower consciousness beings, and perhaps those beings and that environment is what you would associate as hell at a first glance. Lower conscious beings means that they have less understanding which means that they are more likely to be what you consider evil.
But remember that they can't hurt you. So there is no need to be afraid of them either. Remember though that humans being might be conscious being but we are far from high conscious beings yet. Once again there is no evil or good, only love or absence of love. :meditate:

Monroe himself actually got this kind of question, he was asked if he had been into the ends of the universe and he said "No not the end, but me and my student from the institute gathered up and went out there looking for extra terrestrial life, but the search was in vain. We didn't found any aliens in our solar system and not beyond that either." This is told in one of his book can't remember which one though.
4. How long does it take to have your first astral projection if you excercise once a day?
Astral projection is once again just a term that you associate with a particular thing, perhaps astral projection is when you enter a another dimension that is different to the physical one. But then keep in mind that physical reality shares the same properties as any other dimension, the only difference is that there are different rules and belief systems attached to each one. So lucid dreaming is in a sense an astral projection as well, so learn to lucid dream and you can then say you have astral projected, however if you don't want to explore your own consciousness you can of course explore the larger reality which would be higher dimensions than this one, but in this post it seems like you would like to learn to see the real Hour Glass Nebula in an OBE, that is to say that you temporarily move our consciousness from your body.
Well my advice would be to start with lucid dreaming and then while you are in it state your intend to get "out of body" and if the higher powers what ever it might be, your higher self or an angel etc. will make it happen if the time is right for you.
Monroe wandered around in his dream version of his room and around the block in an entire year believing it was just a dream, but then he got experiences suggesting that it might have been more than a dream and later on he understood that it was all guided by intent.
I have currently found a way to enter a dream consciously fairly effortlessely and it doesn't take any training just some understanding, and now I am working on mastering the control and stability of the dreams, when that is mastered I will try to go in Monroes footsteps. But my point is that it can take everything from one night to a year to learn to astral project/ lucid dream. I am not saying they are the same thing, I am just saying that they are based on the same principle - moving your focus of consciousness.

Thank you guys for replying. These helped a lot, I think next time I lucid dream, if I remember I'll ask the dream to let me astral project. I'm gonna keep looking at some sites too, so I can learn more about it. There is a lot more going on then what I thought a week ago.
So yeah I was reading this book about astral projection, and it talked about the demons and how they lay out traps and stuff, and then there was a whole chapter about demon hunting, so that got me excited and I've been thinking about that a lot. I guess I shouldn't worry about that as much Thanks for telling me about this though.Quote:

I'm currently trying to consciously LD again (it happens off and on) and am interested in other people's success.
