Was this a genuine OBE?
I haven't consciously achieved AP yet, but I think this may have been it!
Before sleep the other night, I said to myself over and over, "I will leave my body and remember the experience". In the morning, about an hour before I wake up for work, I had a dream that I was floating outside my bedroom window, looking at my front yard. It was cold outside, but I felt no sense of temperature. I saw the rubbish truck pull up to our house and empty the bin. That was the end of the dream. The funny part is, that the rubbish truck did indeed empty our bin that morning.
Another thing that made me think it was a possible OBE, is that I had 360 degree vision. It's hard to explain, but I didn't have to turn around to see the side of my house and my window, I knew it was there and I could somehow see everything around me all at once.
I think I was out of body, but wasn't fully conscious or aware, so it seem like a vivid dream, and not waking reality like a conscious OBE would be.

you can lose awareness during an OBE too. in fact it's pretty difficult not to. the longer you stay out the harder it is to remember the experience. it could have been OBE or not. for me i chalk up those types of experiences as lucid or vivid dreams though. when i have OBE there is a definite moment of seperation. sounds like a cool experience though regardless of how you define it. i'll say the same thing to you that i do to other people i see wanting confirmation : nobody else really knows what happened but you.
