No expert here - but I had my first ever zombie dream last nite - I didn't actually get to see them - just knew they were coming for us. I wasn't panicked, but knew we had to leave where we were. Was a weird, but not scary feeling. Zombies don't scare me . . .

First thing you have to realize is that everything you see in your dreams is created from your mind. You can never be harmed physically (if you look around here, you'll see all sorts of weird and physically damaging things that people have done to themselves and other dream characters) in your dream, but you can, however, be emotionally affected by things that happen. You know zombies don't exist in reality so I would find a way to fight them.

Also know that often nightmares are a sign that something is amiss. Doesn't mean yer mental or anything, just that you have an issue of some sort that needs to be worked out. I haven't had a nightmare in years because I realize I not really scared of anything anymore. Take control and teach yourself that these zombies don't really exist and you can win.

Lucid dreaming is not really something that you learn overnight so it may take a while for you if you were planning on using that to control your fears - the nightmares may make it hard for you to take control right away. At least you have good dream recall at this point - and LD may not be your only solution. I hope you can work through this and eliminate zombies as a threat to your well-being. Hope that this has helped some . . .

      cheers

synchronistically x2 I had my first zombie dream last night and I can remember it because I felt that it was significant but I didnt know why.

anyway, cmohne, with experience of bad dreams that has affected me I've noticed one thing common to them all. they stop affecting you as the time goes. so it will probably go away with time, dont worry
