      Question about shared dreams

When you have a shared dream when you wake up do you like vanish to the other real people or do you turn into a dream character of their dream? Also any tips on how to have a shared dream? Like would attempting to make a portal to somones dream work? (You could check by telling them a word in dream then asking if it has any meaning when you text them out of dream)

Sometimes it doesn't hurt to use the search function on DreamViews and enter "shared dreams" or "shared dreaming".

I say this because there are 7065132549856146535153543546 threads with the question "how do u get like shared dreamz?".

Perhaps someone who believes in shared dreaming can help you out here. I don't believe in it, so I can't help you.

You might want to check out this user forum http://www.dreamviews.com/internatio...aming-project/ and get in touch with some of the members who post there. From what I have read from testimonials of shared dream experiences, it is not usually as straightforward as you dream the same thing, but rather it is two people dreaming similar enough dreams that they doubt that it is just a coincidence, for example if two people who were planning to shared dream happen to both see a golf cart in their dreams without planning it ahead of time and neither of them usually dreams of golf carts, is that a coincidence or is there some telepathy going on? Different people will have a different answer to this: some say it must be a coincidence, others will say that it is more than just a coincidence.
You may say I'm a dreamer.

      Unhappy The best Halloween ever!

On October 28th part of my dream included me going to this costume ball in this large ballroom that you could access through this secret door. There were a group of kids my age and a handful of adults (some in costume, some not), there was also a DJ. I was dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast (my dress switched between her blue one and her yellow gown). We all had to write our names on a piece of paper and put in a large glass container (I think there were two separate ones for boys and girls). One random pairing was selected to dance but I didn’t pay attention to that, then we were all dancing informally to the music the DJ was playing and then a teacher selected two more names. One boy came forward but I didn’t pay much attention to him. Then she called for belle and I came forward (why she didn’t just use the persons real name I have no idea). It was then that I noticed who my dancing partner was but we didn’t have time to talk because she had ushered us off to the main ballroom area. I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the ballroom was. The floor was all sparkly and icy, the walls and arches were white with gold lining. I looked at my dancing partner and noticed that even in the silk, fuchsia shirt he wore he still looked masculine. It showcased his muscles and abs beautifully. The nearest I could tell he was dressed as prince Phillip from sleeping beauty or at the very least a prince or king. The clothes he was wearing were very princely and he was wearing a crown. His face was like a real life version of prince Phillips right down to the rich chestnut hair, combed similarly to Phillips, his angular face and square jaw and dark brown, almost black eyes that sparkled with mischief. But make no mistake, there was nothing cartoony about him at all, he was very flesh and blood real. I remember every strand and shade of his chestnut hair. As he led me into the ballroom, I felt down because I didn’t get to dance with a beast. Once we were left alone to dance I began to feel extremely nervous because I did not know how to ballroom dance and complained that they should have taught us. He was confused by me saying this because he then told me that they had done during a P.E session (which naturally I missed). I had a the vaguest sense that at that point I’d been missing a lot of school lately and that I wasn’t alone in doing so. I started to notice how good looking he was and wandered absently who his girlfriend was, I.e. who was I pissing off or making jealous. Suddenly before my eyes his skin transformed from fair and smooth to gray and scarred and his eyes were sunken with large purple bags under them. In short he looked like a zombie. I then joked that he could work as the beast and he agreed and laughed gently. I then felt bad and said he was way too pretty to be the beast. At that he turned back into his regular self and smiled impishly at my comment. I couldn’t help but blush at having made such a forward comment. I was sure at that moment that he would later go back to his girlfriend and laugh about it with her. Soon enough however I’d gotten over my inability to dance, with his guidance and before I knew it we were swirling around the room, forgetting completely about everyone else. It was then, I think that I was now in the golden dress instead of the blue one. As we continued to dance while others were leaving, I noticed one guy dressed as shaggy from Scooby doo. I had a feeling that I was the only one who could see prince Phillips zombie-like transformation. As he switched in and out of it frequently without anyone noticing but me. As we were leaving and he had his arm around me, I thought to myself that this was the best Halloween I’d had in years and then some sort of commotion broke out. I didn’t really see what happened as we were quickly led away by this creepy guy who took us through this secret entrance out of the building. I took prince Phillip with me back to my house (for some reason it was snowing outside). Once inside he told me he’d been looking for me for a long time. Instead of asking him what he meant I wanted to talk about a possible relationship between us and he said that that could never happen. I asked him why and he told me his name was Cali, or something like that. In real life this name means nothing to me but in my dream it struck a cord. It was a name I’d heard mentioned earlier, of someone who had been missing for a long time. I think it may have been the name of my (dream) long lost brother. It was a crushing blow to me, to say the least as I’d developed romantic feelings for him. I remembered the sad and weary expression he’d worn as he’d told me, I was willing to bet he was feeling the same way. I woke up and the dream ended. Two days later on halloween I was feeling down because I didn't get to do anything fun. I just randomly stumbled onto this tumblr page (I think it was a halloween related one) and to my complete surprise I saw a picture of him! The guy from my dream and he was dressed as a zombie! This both thrilled and terrified me but then to my dismay I saw a woman stood next to him (also dressed as a zombie) who I figured to be his wife/girlfriend. I ultimately chose not to waste my time following up on it. But I am still curious about it though.

I have yet to find any members claiming to have shared dreams in the way you are thinking. It is a neat idea, but who knows how it would work. I have thought I succeeded in entering peoples dreams, but they have never remembered anything, so it may have been all in my head.

I think chances of 2 people entering exactly the same dream in the same time are very small. You might see each other there, but it would most probably be your DC of person whom you wanted to see and you as his DC of person he wanted to see. But both you will not be able to actually exchange information.

However i think it is possible, need to understand how.

I have noticed in my shared dreams when the person wakes up i usually jolt out of bed. If they didnt realize they had popped into my dreams then got bored and went elsewhere i end up thinking they are still somewhere in the dream and end up looking for them not finding them of course because they are no longer in my dream. I am not sure if this is true for everyone or just me. . I was surprised to notice how weird people are about shared dreaming until i thought about it. Yes we whom have experienced it can say it till our ears turn blue but it will make no difference until science can prove it is real and that we cannot harm others in a shared dream. or every other person on earth has a shared dream otherwise it tends to be a I believe in them because i have had one kinda thing not just on this site either but within real life as well. I hope this answers your question .
