Astral Projection techniques throwing off my chance to Lucid Dream?

Okay this happened for the second time about 10 mins ago. So I awaken from my dream. Eyes closed, perfectly still, calm, doin everything good. So I start to focus. Soon after, a wave hits me and I feel and hear some vibrations or a vibrational field. Now I know at this stage I guess you could just chill out and lucid dream, but ive also heard at this point you can also astral project. My choice both times was to try to astral project and I start to phantom wiggle. The 1st time I actually levitated (spiritually) but accidentaly opened my eyes. Now if this happenes to me again, if I just chill and relax, will I fall into sleep and lucid dream? Or am I on theright path to astral project? I feel like I am a hair's length away from Lucid Dreaming but I keep messing it up. Any response is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Both the lucid dreaming and astral projection transition have nothing to do with relaxation, so don't focus on that.

I mean if you think about it, it's not the physical body that you move when you lucid dream or astral project, you are only moving your awareness.

Relaxation only makes the process of moving your awareness easier.

Next time when you phantom wiggle or levitate, try to really focus all your awareness on that act, because when these sensations are REALLY strong then you are in a strong non-physical (dream or astral) focus. At this point I usually just assume that I am in a non-physical version of my bedroom and I get up.

      Good luck!

Congrats on your ap experience. When your in the moments between sleep and wakefulness what happens is based on your intention. If your vibrating and want to Ap it's necessary that you open your eyes so you can see where your going with in the astral dreamscape. However if you open your eyes with the intent that opening your eyes will somehow break the trance well then you will break the trance and wake up. Its all about intent. As you progress with your ap experiences you'll learn that by merely thinking about your body will wake you u up. Also keep in mind if your vibrating your already sensing something you normally wouldn't while awake in other words your already dreaming the goal is to extend it. If your vibrating and want to fall back into a dream you can do that as well. You could wait for a dream scene to develop which could take a while and risk you falling back to sleep. Or you can actively create an environment which could take a lot less time then waiting for one.

When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation

Thankg guys! Well when I opened my eyes thats when the vibrations stopped and I felt fully awake. I think I should try to lucid dream before trying to astral project. If I encounter this same situation again, or another DEILD, what should I do as soon as I wake up from the drean??

You enter Astral/OBE from your Lucid Dream, continue and get inside your LD. I think it is the same thing, you might have different feelings because you think of it as something different.

I start and end most of my LD's with OBE/Astral. It's my hometown where i can think of what to do in my Lucid Dream
