Dream of future self?

When I was very young I remember having a dream about myself in the future, all I remember is that I had a very attractive girlfriend and I owned a "red sports car", the weird part is that at that age I had no interest in cars at all! I didn't even know what a Sports Car was! I had it when I was around 4 or 5. A few months ago I had a couple of dreams of me driving somewhere in an unknown car (could possibly be the "red sports car") I usually have my friends, family or an unknown girlfriend, I would always be going somewhere, but I don't know where, all I know is that it is in my hometown. Recently I have become pretty much obsessed with Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and the Chevy Corvette (mainly the Corvette since it is more affordable). Also in another dream I had around when I was in Kindergarten was that I was picking up someones kids (Can possibly be my future nephews?) from an elementary school and I had a hairstyle in which strangely seems to resemble what I have right now! I also had straight teeth and when I was little I had pretty crooked teeth and I had braces for 3 years and now I have them straight! Can this be a sign of what I might have in the future? Or is it something symbolic? Like those items really mean something else?

I think in order to determine if you in deed get visions of yourself in the future, and not random wishful dreams that happen to come true, I think you would have to experience many of these dreams that you can confirm at a later time. If you starting to see a pattern that more dreams than not can be validated as more than just a "traditional dream" then you may consider that you have an ability to dream into the future. Keeping a dream journal can be helpful - because dreams are easily forgotten.
