      Shared Dreaming?

Alright, so I saw someone mention dream sharing, so I looked it up. Thing is, I think I may have experienced this before.
Back in 7th grade, I talked to my friend Dominic during 1st period about a dream that I had the previous night. It involved me and other people, including Dominic, trying to cross snowy, icy terrain while avoiding giant, snake-like creatures that lived in the ground. As I was describing the dream, Dominic stopped me and said that he had had the same exact dream! He then went on to tell me that he had become lucid during the dream, after we had become separated. Actually, it's because of this incident that he taught me about lucid dreaming!
Anyway, I still remember the dream to this day, and have been curious as to how this happened. Has anyone else had any experiences like this? Is it even possible? Just want some feedback.

Yeah that kind of thing happens to a lot of people, though nobody has much idea how it works, apparently.

When people talk about shared dreaming, they're not all talking about quite the same thing. Some people are actually trying to interact with each other in a lucid dream. Other people are talking about two people having the same dream, not necessarily at the same time. Other people are talking about being aware of other people's thoughts in a dream. Its all interrelated I guess. Though two people interacting in a lucid dream would seem pretty hard to me, and I don't know if that ever happens except in a very partial manner. I haven't experienced any kind of sharing in a lucid dream, but I have a lot of dreams where I seem to be aware of other people's thoughts, so to speak. And I've had a lot of dreams that seem to be closely connected to other people's dreams, like they're different interpretations of the same underlying story, with a few specific details tying them together.
