Constant ringing?

Hey guys. I just wanted to ask is it normal to have a ringing in your ears-always? I noticed that the ringing seems to be more intense whenever I'm in a vibrational state or close to entering a dream, but pretty recently it has been getting out of hand and I can't even drone it out anymore. It's just always, always there. The only time I don't hear it is when I'm sleeping. Am I just becoming more aware of my spiritual self? I don't really understand why it happens but it seems like the ringing has been there as long as I can remember, but its just become stronger and louder recently. Thoughts?

it sounds like Tinnitus. Google it.

I just got back from a physical last week and one of the questions I was asked was, "Do you have constant ringing in your ears?".... "shrugs"

Do you have high blood pressure?

To the OP. Try taking a daily calcium and magnesum supplement for about a week and see if that helps.

I thought this was connected somehow to AP and LDing because I don't have any hearing loss problems and the intensity of the ringing usually correlates with dreams and APs. Whatever it may be, it doesn't bother me a ton. Thanks anyway :p

Well you made it seem like it was constant while awake.
Good luck with that and no it does not sound from what you described as only relater to at obe or le.

I've actually been experiencing this same sensation for just over a week now! I thought it was related to meditating/LDs as well because it's the same frequency I "hear" when I'm in a high vibrational state. I've also noticed that echo-ing sounds seem louder and longer (for example, hitting a metal spoon against a glass will sound VERY loud, louder than I remember it sounding before this all started).
