Thread: My Grandfather's Near Death Experience

My maternal grandfather, John "Jack" Dillon, died on Halloween, 1980, of a heart attack when I was five years old. He was a World War II veteran, and an alcoholic. He actually died in the hospital, was "revived" then lived another two weeks before going for good.
My mom told me about his Near Death Experience.

He felt himself floating up out of the hospital room, and saw his body below. He felt no pain, and total peace. He saw the nurses and doctors working on his body. He saw a beautiful light, and moved toward the light. The medical staff revived him with a defibrillator, then he was suddenly jolted back in his body.

He opened his eyes and said angrily, "Shit!"
