Dream or out of body experience???

A few years back, I was totally relaxed laying in bed. My thought was "man, I'm getting really hot, I should take off my sweater", but I didn't want to move because I was too damn comfortable. I had my eyes closed but just a sliver open, I could see partial of my room. Suddenly, I felt myself elevate but no longer seeing my room, then I started to sway back and forth and going up and down, it was like the same feeling of being in a roller coaster, you know when you're at the top when it releases? Anyway, that same feeling. My thought was "holy shit, this is really cool". I turned left, took off out of my home at what felt like a rapid speed. I had no idea where I was headed, all I knew was I wanted to get back home, as soon as I thought that, it seemed like I went into my own body. I had my eyes still closed and not being able to move, I had a sharp twinglly feeling from head to toe, like same feeling when your foots asleep or another body part but much more intense. I'm not sure how long that twingly feeling took place but it felt like forever.
I finally opened my eyes only to realize, I was not wearing a sweater or using my comforter but I was flippin hot. I layed there thinking about what the hell just happened. Was this a dream or an experience of a outter body experience? Have you or someone you know shared this similar experience? It was F'd up. Haven't had another one since, if I did, I would just go with the flow and see where I was going or who I seeing.

I think what you experience was a dream because the rocking of the bed your describing sound like a method I do to become lucid. Essentially I imagine the bed rocking back and forth ever so slightly and in crease intensity of rocking in increments until I fall out of bed. When I fall out of bed I am actually in dream mode and lucid but also could not see. However, I have never experience the tingling sensations you described.

So I guess its a toss-up as to whether you experience a dream or OBE.
      Dream Goals:

[] Create device that will make me instantly lucid.

Well, that sounds like a transition to a LD, or in fact an OBE.
