This is... Odd.
Hey! :)
I've been getting this for some time now. I take a scientific point of view on life, the universe, and pretty much everything, so I regard these events as pure coincedence / mental illusions, but I'd like to hear what you have to say.
What happens is this: I keep predicting what people are going to say. It's only really been happening for the last year or so, and it's probably happened about eight times.
For example, the first time it happened, I was in a shop, looking at some clothes. Suddenly, the word 'Maestro' (a credit card) popped into my head. The next thing you know, the woman at the counter who was buying something asked the lady at the till, 'do you take maestro?'
That struck me as very weird, as I'm sure you can imagine. ;)
The words aren't very common ones either... I remember the word 'straggler' being one that popped up once, but I've forgotten all of the others now.
So... Any thoughts? :)

I have tried this too, with some success. But then again I am a "Rum Soaked Poet" !!!. I guess this is a "little voice" phenomenon. It would have greater standing if one could achieve this a day ahead or so. But what do we know of the intentions of such phenomenon. It could be leading you astray. It is like Instinct.........It is a bit Myopic but good in the short term. Like..........it could never win you the Lottery........so it must have it's own agenda. But then again...... maybe everything we encounter is just an illusion. To put one's own selfish mental agenda above all would truly drive us Insane. Anyway perhaps it Higher than we are. Though I do laugh at the Vanity of Man who has to try and control everything possible. Then again the success with a shortened time span negates the possibility of error......... (Like "Little Glimpses" of the Future.)

Hey Xei, the same thing occasionally happens to me, not so much now but it was quite frequent when I was younger.
Every time it happened I would always wonder if I had really had the thought a second earlier than the occurence, whether it be the saying of a phrase or a song on the radio, or if my mind was just playing tricks on me. I decided the only way to figure this out would be to say the thought out loud whenever I got that feeling, by hearing myself say it I would be certain whether or not I was coming up with these things before they happened. People might think you're nuts when you declare 'mash potato' in the middle of a conversation but it has worked for me a few times and if you get it right they can only be impressed. But of course you don't always get that feeling that makes you question whether your thought is a prediction or just a standard thought.

I've had similar experiences. When I was in my 20s, I had several occurrences where I was able to predict what artist was about to be played on the radio. You could suppose that maybe the DJ had said earlier what was coming up, and subconsciously it registered with me.
But there was one case where I was in the car with a friend, and we were listening to a tape rather than the radio -- I suddenly shouted "Rush" and switched it to the radio. The song that was currently playing faded out, and they started playing a song by Rush. There was NO way I could have known about this beforehand, and my friend was pretty freaked out by it.
I don't know how to explain it, except to say that I think sometimes we do have flashes of ESP or whatever you want to call it. It hasn't happened to me in a long time.

Oh yeah.I've had such experiences with the radio too.Once in our school library I was talking to my friend and I talked how cool one song was(I think it was an eurovision song im not sure)
Anyway seconds later my friend tells me ,,Listen, its the same song you talked about!''
Maybe the song was playing silently on backround and my subconcious registered it but I doubt it.
But this is not the only time I've had such experiences with the radio.
