Thread: The Disturbed Sleep

This night, in August of 2007, was the strangest night of my life. See why, but please
read the whole thing before coming to any conclusion.

My wife had a phone call from our young daughter and when she hung up she came in and
told me about it. It was about our relative that I will call "M" here. Daughter said that M was
in the hospital and was not doing well and they were requesting prayer. Well, I had survived
a near death condition a few years before this and we think that I survived on account of prayers,
and so I always pray for those who really need it. So, I asked wife what was wrong with M, but
she said that she was told that it was personal and just to pray for a full recovery. I told her
that without that information it had to be a very short prayer, but I would try. I prayed there in the
den and then I forgot all about it. What else could I do?

That night I went to bed and slept well until the very middle of the night, maybe 2:30 AM, and our
two dogs woke me and wanted to go outside. I got up perhaps more asleep than awake, and then I got these
"thoughts" that just came to my head. They said like that M had tried to kill herself that evening
and was now in the hospital. I was told that she was near death, but that "it did not have to be that way."
I was told to recall daughter and confirm it was an attempted suicide and this would be confirmed.
Then I was told to get three people to pray for M, first for a total healing of her physical ills, and second
to pray that the enemy would be cast out of her right then and there. Well, I was wondering where
all of this was coming from, when my dogs came back and I let them in and fell exhausted into bed. Wife
did not seem to stir. Right away I dreamed, and there was a man sitting down and he was looking at me.
He told me that M had indeed tried to kill herself. I was to be believe it.

When I awoke that AM I went to talk to wife and she was coming out of the bathroom. I told her what happened
and asked her to call back daughter and ask her if M had indeed tried to kill herself. She told me that from
the telephone conversation that she doubted that it was suicide, but then she stopped and said that
she supposed it had to be something like that and said that she would call.

Later she came and told me that daughter had confirmed it and had asked how I knew. We talked and
she told me that daughter told her that M had taken pills to kill herself, but her landlord had come over, and had never done that before in the evening and had found her and called the ambulance.

Well, I did as I was told, and I got three people to pray for M for what I had been told to.

M came back to her home seemingly very changed, I was told. Daughter told her all that happened in our
house that night. She is still around and I am told that she has not tried it again.

I have thought alot about all of this and I think it was not about me, it was all about M.

And yes I have ideas who caused all this, but I wanted to show you in a brief way how
it all happened.
