i dont think there are too many types of food that can affect your dreaming at all if we're talking about lucid dreams. Of course there is the Placebo effect but that's different.

There are different types of drugs that induce a dream like state or even an actual dream state that may be a lucid dream. The Fly Agaric mushroom (when properly prepared) is an example, the first state of the trip may cause you to fall asleep/you may fall asleep and possibly have a lucid dream (the possibility might be bigger when you're already aware about lucid dreams and possibly have experienced it before?).
Then there is Calea Zacatechichi that you smoke to make dreams more vivid (which helps with lucidity) and even lucid. This is not a drug though, the effect it has on dreams is pretty much the only effect it has...

not really sure if this is gonna help you but i dont know much...

Well, the forum has oodles of information if you do a search for it.
I'd suggest looking at Vitamin B6, melatonin and mint, as well as the ones that queenofthestoneage mentioned.
Vitamin B6, for example, can be found in eg. bananas. And milk has some or other effect on serotonin/melatonin - as does mint.

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.

Check out the pharmacy(in the tutorials section)it has links to a bunch of topics in the forums about different "drugs"(b6,vitamin e, etc) Theres herbs and other things. If you made a topic asking what people felt when they took a certain drug would probaly work. I've tried vitamin e, b6, diphenhydramine&doxylamine succinate(25mg, they're sleep aids,I have problems falling asleep) I'll post some of my experiences sometime.
