      Shared Dreaming Question

I've never really experienced shared dreaming before(Only tried it a couple of times) so I have a few questions for those who believe in it, experienced it or tried it. Should shared dreaming be something we should really try doing? Because when I think about it if we open our mind space to try and connect to someone couldn't something else get into our mind space? Well, we wouldn't be emptying our minds like meditation so I guess it would be different. But still, I find I get the scariest dreams when I try to share dream with someone for some reason. Could it be because I don't know what to expect? Also, for those who say you can send dream images to another person even though their awake, wouldn't that be a bad thing? I mean it would mean you can dump a whole bunch of negative things into their dreamworld if you wanted to.I could try to share dream again but I rather get others input first on it.

Waking Nomad has a good tutorial in the sub-section of beyond dreaming, called DEEP DREAMING the "no skeptics" section. You have to get permission from admin, but there is a lot of good suggestions there that might help you.
      Good luck.

Thanks. But why do I need permission from a admin to see it? Was it closed or just put on private?

Deep Dreaming is invite only. It is for those who want to believe things like shared dreaming is possible. It is not open for anyone who wants to argue about how such things have not been proven. Do you fit in the group who the sub-forum is for? If so ask one of the admins to consider letting you in. They probably will, as your permission gets revoked if you do not follow the rules.

Read here about fake shared dreams, will answer your question about scary dreams when attempting to shared dream. http://www.dreamviews.com/beyond-dre...-dreaming.html
You can read more about those in old topic, link is inside that post.
Few things to note, so you can answer your own question. You will be sharing same amount of waking like memories as well, so not only dreams will be shared.
You should not worry much about opening up in return, if you have some kind of dream control, you can leave that bad dream you are seeing or change it in your own way.
But if you are afraid now, you might be scared there too, depends how sensitive are you.

I think you can quit shared dreaming later if you want, so it should be fine.

I remember reading when you first posted it but I guess I forgot what exactly was written there so thanks for the reminder. Yeah, I can quit if I don't want to try it anymore so I will try not to get scared about it.
