HELP PLEASE. sleep paralysis/ shadow people

Since 2003 ive had these experiences with this. Everytime is different but it always starts with the ringing in my ears. Always. After that starts i always try to fight it. Turn on the lights, roll over, etc. But nothing can stop what is coming. After about an hour i finially give up and am immediately overcome by complete paralysis and the loudest ear ringing imaginable. From there things can be different. This last time was the worst ever. I saw the shadows come threw my closed window. They never let me focus on them but i can track them from the corner of my eye. For the first time i felt like i was levitating. Then i began to glide from one side of my bed to the other. Then a bright ball of light hovered infront of my left eye. It was like when u get an eye exam and my eye began watering profusely. When i try to call for help i am subdued and the ringing gets louder. I then saw the shadows leaving the window they came in and then i was released. I sat up and the neighbors dog went crazy followed by the next neighbors dog followed by the next. My eye continued to water and when they leave im no longer scared. I go from complete terror to peaceful. This has happened to me 15 to 20 times since 2003 and i need help explaining this. 4 girlfriends and a pittbul experienced this with me so i know im not crazy. Plz tell me ur thoughts

It does seem like sleep paralysis, except that you get the ear ringing an hour before it happens.

I had sleep paralysis last week. I knew it isn't harmful, so I didn't think of monsters and started visualizing a pretty girl hoping she'd show up.

Sleep paralysis isn't harmful and it doesn't last more than a few minutes. When it happens, try to stay calm and visualize something nice.
I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

Don't despair... Your fear is really bad. You should confront your fears. Maybe things you fear are only misunderstood helpers... Dream guides.
Dream paralysis is your friend. It helps your body to rest and not to wander of everytime you dream about something.
You can always come back to waked state. You only need to want it.
Defeat your fear with unattached observation. Look on things you fear as if it is something interesting, something you need to understand.
You can't run from yourself. You need to understand.
Remember your consciousness is not in physical world.

Yesterday night, I was really tired... I didn't manage to have OBE, but I managed multiple LDs. I started with induction of dream paralysis as usually. I appeared in my bedroom and went down... I met my wife and from the interaction with her I found, it is not OBE but LD. I went back to waking state and tried OBE again. And again I reached only LD. So I went out of my house and let myself to wander, in direction my feelings led me... I wandered about half an hour(subjective) till I lost consciousness. I wandered 1/3 of way in nearly dark surrounding... then it got better... Nothing interesting happened.

I remember one OBE when I was flying high above mountains, and I was followed by dark cloud. But when I got down to it it disappeared.

I remember one OBE when I was projected into friends bedroom. She sleeped and I sat on her bed. I observed her sleep. I observed surrounding. I exercised concentration. I observed myself and I saw blue-violet aura around myself. My friend has yellow aura. After a while a black cloud appeared at the feet of bed and enlarged itself till it was about 1-1.5 m big. It wanted to go to my friend. I felt its badness. I didn't want to allow it to come close to me or my friend. I concentrated and my aura flared stronger. The black cloud was stopped, my aura was unbearable to it. It made a few more attempts but lost strength, shrinked and disappeared. I left bedroom of my friend and disappeared into unconsciousness a few minutes afterward.

Dream guides are DCs we create as a trick to help us in dream control, not beings that come to us through our dreams.

OBEs, OK, actual spirit in reality OBE??
Plus, you shouldn't induce sleep paralysis on purpose, it's just a distraction and not a goal for WILD.

Also, time isn't subjective in dreams. They made studies about that. Time in dreams is the same as in reality. If you count to ten in the dream, 10 seconds would have actually passed in reality. Not more, not less.

I like what you said about fears though.

Dream guides- I tend to agree with you. There is possibility, that if OBE is as real as it feels and if dream is just weak form of OBE where one is inside his imagination, that real beings can help or do harm... And if subject is weak, inexperienced... there the problems arises. I have some indices that OBE is real thing, but it is nothing so strong that I could use it as definitive truth.

Induction of dream paralysis helps me to decrease strength of bindings which I feel towards body... As dream paralysis increase its strength, body awareness decreases and concentration of mind increases. For OBE it helps definitely. It gives me additional boost in strength of concentration. It helps to feel second body when concentration is strong enough and when feeling of physical body decreases enough.

For me time is relative in dreams. I sometimes dream(during LDs) for tens of minutes(subjective) while according to clocks only a few minutes lapsed I'm not sure I can dream for more than 1 hour but subjectively I experienced some hours long LDs. Or maybe that weren't dreams but OBEs? If so, then all my system for differentiate between LD and OBE is flawed and need to be reworked.

I am a shamanic healer. I have sympathy for you and I'm sorry to hear of your suffering. I could help you more if we spoke in a dream.

I recommend visiting a counselor who is trained in the art of shamanic practice. It would be so transformative and you would learn a lifetime of dreaming knowledge in a matter of hours.

You seem to be harboring a deep-seated fear. It is the only thing you are doing that is allowing this to happen. Simply releasing your fears can seem difficult, but with the right intent, techniques and time, you can transform this experience to a blissful state of consciousness.

You have a spirit guide. who it is, well, This depends on you as a person, and what you have learned from past life experience. I recommend doing a spirit guide journeying meditation. such as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9s5Ldf7kQo

there are many things in the realm of spirit that are difficult to explain in plain english. Our experience is a beautiful one when you see clearly! I can tell you that you are fine and don't have any real problem. You just need to understand your fear by examining it in a safe space and choosing to let go. I ask you to meditate daily on what your experience means to you. How is your deep consciousness manifesting these experiences? Have you had any trauma or abuse that might relate to this?

Do not believe if a voice in the night tells you to be afraid of attack, or of any vulnerability. Remember that intimidation is a state of mind and fear will make you feel vulnerable and weak. Unfortunately, feeling afraid is the only thing it takes to experience a shockingly fearful state of mind. Don't listen to scary voices in the dark. Try to meditate on the sun spirit, filling your chest and whole body with warm protective light. You are a powerful soul with magical abilities you have yet to realize.

Please try to change your mental attitude about this experience. Don't pretend that something can hurt you in the metaphysical sense. The only thing that can hurt you is fear, so don't feel afriaid. Simply calm yourself with breathing exercises, meditation, a few yoga poses in the middle of the night always calms me down if I see something that makes me feel uncomfortable. Try to ask your spirit guides to reveal themselves to you persitently and they will.

Each soul has a guardian that sleeps deep at the root of the soul. Call to this guardian for protection. Faith is the way to salvation from fear. Faith and faith alone will set you free. Don't be afraid and seek someone like a shamanic healer who can help you actively work over these fears. They will pass soon, surely. You are not alone.

Brandon, based on my 15 years of rather consistent experience in the sleep paralysis state, I can confidently say that you have no reason to cause yourself such suffering.

Out of all of the spooks, demons, aliens, goblins, and whatever other unsavory beings that have manifested during my SP episodes, I have never once been harmed by these beings, nor have I heard of anyone else being harmed.

These encounters actually gave me the opportunity to confront my fears, and I eventually learned to eliminate my fear and instead cultivate love towards these beings, and I even discovered that I could make them disappear and shift my own consciousness to higher states through intent and confidence alone.

There is a good chance that the sights and sounds that manifest during these experiences are simply manifestations of your subconscious mind with no objective reality or consciousness of their own.

If you can learn to control your fear, which will probably start by having faith that these experiences and their various manifestations are harmless, you may discover this state of sleep paralysis to be a doorway into a whole new dimension of spiritually-enlightening experience.

      Good luck pal.
