      Sleep paralysis and external entities?

Right so last night I had a pretty normal dream for me until the end. Basically for me I never get nightmares anymore and I can usually end up controlling the dream and flying etc... But at the end of this one I remember being in a darkish room and I was stood on a bed at the edge and I could feel the dream ending.
Then all of a sudden this demonic looking face pops up and everything around it turns black. The face looked like a skeletal kind of alien humanoid face. It surprised me a little and then I had a feeling that was like my arms were being pulled upwards and something was pushing down on my body so I couldn't move. It was like this face was trying to keep me in the dream. So I tried resisting it pinning me down and couldn't at first and ended up shouting for help (which turns out was only in the dream). So then my reactions kicked in and I just jolted my body to resist it more and woke up..

It was just so weird, it felt like an external presence was trying to infiltrate my dreams or something and keep me there.. I don't know? I've never had sleep paralysis and it just felt so different to anything I've had before.. It lasted no time at all either. Anyone else had a similar experience or any ideas about it?

Hey OzTheAmazing! Sad to hear you had this expirience
I haven't commented on the forum for quite some time now, so here goes...
I'v Had similar things happen to me, but not so bad like your case. So basically I do see something scary at the end of the dream (which is pretty rare) and that thing holds me from exiting the dream. And when I wake up I can remember vividly what happen.
The best advise I can give you now is to just don't let those kinds of things get to you or particularly your mind. You mustn't forget that you are the so called KINGof the dream and you lead.
Now if I may add, I do believe in the paranormal to some extend, but I am not a hard core believer. I do believe that there is something, just not the kind the movies show us . Even if you managed to encounter something, it was purely in your head. A real negative entity on the other hand would try to destroy everything it gets its hands on. And even then we are speaking of a negative entities on a whole new level. The kind that can posses and manipulate our world. And that nearly never happens.
So over all you shouldn't be that concerned. You just to remember YOU ARE THE KING IN YOUR DREAMS!
      ^_^

Occasionally I have felt creepy 'presences' during the transition from waking into sleep during WILD attempts. I never saw anything tho, but the 'intuition' of something being there was strong, I had they fear they wanted my body or something.
