A shared lucid dream....how did he know my dream?

had a lucid dream (apparently shared) that was very intense & real. I was with my family when a man with a bright face approched and speaking only to me said, " Come Child, you belong with us" immediately, I understood and felt an intense belonging.Without hesitation I left with the man. Then I was in the mountains, where small camps gathered over fires singing beautifully and causing the same feelings as the Man who called me. I began to sing also. I wandered alone without a camp, cold. Then someone was with me guiding me, teaching me to have fire. Others didn't like this and hated him/us. They wanted to kill him/us. So I taught him how to sing a song that would protect, the sound was peircing. I woke up afraid. For days I couldn't stop thinking abut this dream, the meaning and significance of the camps.... a week later my 'significant other', whom Id been ignoring called. We met up and immediately he looked at me strangely and said "The Resistance! Sarah! We shared a dream the other night." It creeped me out and I totally ignored it. Two years later, I finally asked him about it. He said, yes, we shared the dream. I didnt believe him. He said,"Do you remember the camps?" He told me it was him in the dream, and thanked me for helping him. He knew I was afraid when I woke and Told me, don't, worry its ok. He described the location of the dream in detail. He wouldnt divulge how or why it was shared, saying only I couldn't "jump the fence" then he made sone vague refrence to lucid dreaming.

This has been driving me insane, i have to know what it is

Wish I could help you but sorry.
I'm trying to understand this at the moment too!

I feel like I share dreams with others sometimes but I don't know who they are.

The one of them I do recognise I just think of as the element Fire. *shrug* But I kinda also know she's me too, as when she's with me I can access her 'skill'

lol, I'm not trying to be vague deliberately - It's just that I don't really understand it all when I'm awake! ...... It makes total sense to me in dreams though

Oh, actually I think I do I'd had a dream with my partner in the other night when I took him to Mushroom land, and then when I mentioned it he said oh yeh.. I had a wired dream about Mushrooms.

Can I ask, were you sleeping next to him at the time you shared the dream? My dreams are totally different when I sleep alone to when I'm sharing a room/bed or sleeping close to others.

Hummm I accidentally was in my daughters dream last night too, or she was in mine!

I also seem to get into the dreams of my neighbours they are friends too to gay guys there bed backs onto ours so we are only separated by a thin wall. I'm going to sleep down stairs tonight to try and get a handle on this

I have had shared dreams, and have read many examples of shared dreams. The bright face thing seems to be very common in apparent shared dreams as well as My own.

Nothing to be worried or scared if you have the same dream as someone else.
I try this longer time now, and while I'm able to do WILD, I'm unable to share dream... nobody I met in dream remembers that.
